Clem and Louis aren't together in this AU, but they like each other

Scenario: Louis sees Clementine being harassed, so he decides to step in

Clem was walking through the park, heading back home.

She heard someone whistle, and she scowled at them.

They winked at her. "Nice ass."

She glared at them. "Excuse me?"

"I said you have a nice ass."

She flipped them off and kept walking.

They caught up with her. "And what's your name gorgeous?"

She rolled her eyes and kept walking.

"What? You just gonna ignore me? You should learn to take a compliment." the guy said.

"Fuck off asshat." she said.

"Whatever." he said, with a smirk.

"Go away." she said.

"Can't do that, darling. I'm not going anywhere until I have your number." he said.

She finally had enough. She turned around. "Listen jackass, I'm not interested. And you know what? I have a boyfriend." she said on instinct.

"I don't see him." he said.

Louis had been watching this happen, he had to step in.

"Hey, dickhead. Leave my girlfriend alone." he said.

"This is the boyfriend?" the guy said.

"Yeah, I am. You got a fucking problem with that?" Louis said, folding his arms. The sudden outburst took the stranger but surprise.

"No.. no problems here." he said.

"Then I think it's time you go." Louis said, towering over the stranger.

The stranger walked away quickly, and Clem sighed in relief.

"Thanks for the save." she said.

"No problem. Anything for my 'girlfriend'." he said.

She smiled and shook her head.

"Can I walk you home? You might need my services again." he said.

"Okay." she replied.

They started walking to Clem's house.

When they got there, the sun was setting.

"Thanks again for getting rid of that creep." Clem said.

"I wasn't gonna let you be harassed by him." he said. She smiled.

"Well.. I'll see you tomorrow." she said.

"See you later." he said.

She kissed his cheek before going into her house. Louis's cheeks turned a light shade of pink as he walked away wondering if maybe, just maybe, she likes him back.
