Morning Sickness

Scenario: Clementine is struggling with her morning sickness. Nervous and worried, she reveals a concern she has, while Louis tried to reassure her.

Clem bolted up, rushing to the bathroom for the third time that day. She only just made it to the toilet. A few weeks ago she had found out that she was pregnant, but she hated having to deal with the morning sickness. She looked at the clock. 8 am. All she wanted was to go to bed and have one peaceful night of sleep.

It's not just her that it'd been effecting though, she kept waking up Louis when she was getting up. When she had finished, she used mouthwash so that her breath didn't smell like puke when she went back to bed.

She dragged her feet back to bed, nuzzling up against Louis, who was half asleep.

"Sorry I woke you.." she whispered.

"No, it's okay..." he mumbled tiredly. He turned around, facing her.

She fidgeted with her ring, twisting it around her finger, something she did when she was nervous.

"What is it?" he asked.

She sighed. "What if I'm not a good mom?"

"What? Of course you'll be a good mom."

"But what if I'm not?" she asked.

"Clem, we've been together for 6 years, married for 3. I know that you'll be a good mom. You'd be crazy to think you won't be." he says. She moves forward, hugging him.

"I love you." she said quietly.

"I love you more. Trust me, you'll be a great mom." he said, kissing her forehead.

"Let's hope you're right." she said, closing her eyes.

"I am right." he said, letting Clementines head rest on his chest.

"Get some sleep. You need it." he said. He played with her hair, something he did to get her to fall asleep, and it worked every time.

"Sleep well my love." he said, before going to sleep himself.
