Those two days Austin had before tour felt like I blinked and they were gone. I miss him already and he hasn't even left yet. His bags were packed and on the couch and I couldn't bear the thought of him going.
It seemed stupid. He's been on tour tons of times but right now, I feel alone. I could go with him but it's important for me to be my own person and do my own thing. I'm hoping being in Seattle by myself for a while will clear my mind.
"Everything okay?" Austin breathed heavily as he ran down the stairs, frantically trying to get everything packed up.
"Yeah," I nodded and walked over to him. "If you stopped smoking, you probably wouldn't lose your breath so easily."
"Shut up, mean ass," he laughed at me, punching my arm lightly. I laughed at him and then leaned up to kiss him. He wrapped his arms around my back and squeezed me. "I'm gonna miss you."
"Don't get me started," I said, burying my face into his chest and squeezing him just as hard. "I know you're going to make thousands of people happy, but I'm gonna miss you being here to keep me happy."
"Stop," he pulled my chin up to look at him. "It's gonna be okay. I can fly you out wherever I am whenever you get a break at work. We're gonna he okay, that's a promise."
"Okay," I nodded to him as a tear fell down my cheek. I tried to hide it but that didn't work. I hate being so dramatic.
"Please don't cry," he said, still hugging me. He was warm and kept me safe. His Dior cologne that he had just sprayed on his white hoodie filled my senses, almost begging me to remember it for six months. "I love you, Liv. It's okay."
"I'm sorry," I shook my head, pulling away from him. I wiped my eyes and snapped myself back to reality. "I'm good, let's get everything out to the car."
I grabbed two of his bags, him grabbing the other three. He overpacked way too much considering he never even wears the clothes he takes with him.
I put the bags in the back of the black SUV that was picking him up. He looked down at me as we stood in our front yard. Mochi ran outside as well, trying her best to get his attention but it was only focused on me.
He kissed me softly, grabbing both sides of my head. It felt, in a weird way, like it would be our last. Mochi clawed at his leg and he pulled away laughing.
"Bye, my other girl," he said, shaking her head as she panted. He placed a kiss on her head and she licked his cheek. "Keep mama company."
"I love you," I said, wrapping my arms around his neck. He kissed my cheek and pulled me closer to him one last time.
"I love you more," he smiled at me and I melted. Even after all this time.
"Not possible, Post," I pulled away from him. "Okay, go before I keep you forever."
"Okay, one last kiss," he said, kissing me softly again and then pulling away within seconds. "Be good. I love you."
I nodded and he opened the door, sliding into the backseat.
"Bye," I said, picking Mochi up and waving with her paw. Austin shook his head laughing and closed the door. I smiled as he waved as the driver started down our long driveway.
I sighed and took Mochi back inside, sitting her down on the floor. I looked at the house that was all mine for a while. Maybe it would be refreshing.

9 hours agoI sat on the couch watching reruns of Friends with Mochi napping beside me. Tonight actually was refreshing. I ordered Chinese and got a bottle of my favorite wine. I planned on vegging out in front of the TV all night, and every night until Austin came home.
My phone rang and I grabbed it, sitting my glass of wine down. I saw a very unflattering picture of Parker across my screen which signaled he was FaceTiming me. I happily answered the call as I placed the phone in front of my face.
"Hi!" Parker screamed as Randy moved into the frame as well.
"Hi! You guys are together!" I smiled knowing my best friends still hung out with each other even when I'm so many miles away. "I miss you guys so much."
"We miss you," Randy pouted and I smiled. "We just called to see if you're okay. I know it's tough, and Austin's leaving."
"I'm okay," I nodded to them. And I really was right now. I'm fine. "Austin left this morning. It's just me and Mochi."
"Well, that can be good!" Parker said and I nodded in agreement. It would be good if I didn't just get married. "We can come visit soon."
"Please," I let out a sigh of relief. "The sooner, the better."
"Soon then," Randy smiled. "And we'll bring everyone. August is dying to see you."
"I miss her more than anyone," I said, taking a sip of my wine. "But y'all are close runner-ups."
"Is it alright if Izzy comes?" Parker asked and I nodded. "I don't know how you feel about her after the whole situation."
"I love Izzy, Parker. She can come," I assured him. "When are you planning on actually taking this somewhere with her? Y'all have been together for so long."
"I actually was gonna talk to you two," he said, looking at the screen and then at Randy. "I think I'm gonna propose to her."
"What?!" Randy and I both yelled. She slapped his arm
"Holy shit!" Randy clapped. "When? How?"
"You should do it here!" I said to him. "I mean, not at my house but in Seattle! Washington is beautiful and a perfect place to propose."
"I'm so nervous," he shook his head. "Before recently, things were rocky. Do you think she'd say yes?"
"I know she'd say yes, Parker," I told him as I started petting Mochi who had just woken up. "She loves you so much. And everyone else is married. You're the only two left."
"I know," He blushed. "I'm gonna do it."
"I'm so excited," I said as I done a little dance. "I think I'm gonna head to bed before I get too drunk and stay up too late. I have work in the morning."
"Okay, love you!" Parker said.
"Love you much!" Randy said, kissing the camera.
I kissed mine back and laughed, "Talk to you guys soon. I love both of you so much. Bye."
They waved as I hung up and I looked over at Mochi. I felt good for the first time since the other night. I'm okay. I have a good life. I'm alive. I'm okay.
"Come on, Mo," I got up off the couch and looked at her. "Let's go outside and then you and I are going to bed."
