14( The Plan

*at johnny's house*
i walk into lauren's room
johnny: hey
lauren: look who finally decides to come home
i playfully roll my eyes and sit on the edge of her bed
lauren: what's up?
johnny: how do I ask someone to be my girlfriend?
lauren: is this about annie?
johnny: yes
lauren: you're finally gonna ask her out?
johnny: if I don't figure out how then no
lauren: right, umm. just ask her
i look at her
unamused
i could have thought of that myself
lauren: i know it may seem like the worst advice ever but coming from a girls perspective if you just ask me out, it will be hard for me to say no. but you have to give her an explanation
johnny: an explanation?
lauren: yeah. tell her why you want her to be your girlfriend. and go into detail
johnny: but i just don't feel like that's enough
lauren: oooh
lauren: so you want to go all out? i got you
johnny: huh?
lauren: just listen. and you might want to write this down because there's a lot
i grab a piece of notebook paper and a pencil as lauren starts talking
lauren: ok so first we need a place for you to ask her
johnny: uhh..what about....the cabin?
lauren: i don't know what that is but sure
lauren: we'll need rose petals and lights and-
johnny: woah woah woah
lauren: what?
johnny: i'm not trying to be broke when this is over
lauren: ok then..scratch the rose pedals
i mark out "rose petals" on my paper and look back up at lauren
lauren: we'll wrap lights around the trees. their are trees there right?

johnny: obviously lauren
lauren: i was just checking geez
*a few hours later*
johnny: this is perfect

johnny: thanks
lauren: no problem. i better have an invitation to y'alls weddin-
johnny: bye lauren
she rolls her eyes as I left
annie was sleeping on the couch

I carry her to her room and fall asleep beside her
end of chapter 14

this was so short but I wanted to save some stuff for the next chapter (which is the last btw)
