Jimin POV

Time Skip (A few days)

This has been the worst past few days of my life. Hoseok dies from a heart attack and Taehyung is in critical condition from a recent car accident. Still no signs of Seulgi. Still no signs of Mina. I've asked the best of the best but there are no traces of her. Her file says she's an orphan from Busan and had no friends or relations with anyone else. But, as I'm walking in the market I see a figure that looks like Mina. I start chasing her but for some reasons she's walking so fast. I can't seem to catch up to her until she has to stop at a stoplight. I run towards her and turn her around. I found her. I say, "Sorry Mina, but I need your help. Can you explain everything to—" Before I finish someone walking by pushes Mina and she falls on me. I catch her but our lips end up connecting. I open my eyes and see Seulgi standing behind Mina. What's going on? I'm so unlucky -.- Mina stands up and slaps me in the face. She says, "Pervert, stay away from me." She walks away and Seulgi stares at me. I give up.

I go to a bar and drink as much as alcohol as I can. I hear a woman sit near me and I turn my head to her. It's Mina. I say in a drunken state, "Get away, you ruined my life." She hands me a shot glass and says, "I never knew..." I take her glass aggressively and swallow the soju in one shot. I start to feel dreary and my consciousness is drifting away. Mina suddenly cups my face and kisses me passionately. But before it ended, I blacked out.

I wake up but it's different from another hangover. My head still hurts but as I open my eyes I can only see a tv playing the news in front of me. I can't move. I'm tied up to a chair. The lights start to turn on one by one. But the thing that scares me the most is the television. The news caster says, "General Park Jimin was one of the casualties in the terrorist attack at a nearby bar. There are 12 confirmed dead. We will update shortly after further investigation." It turns off and I hear cries. Suddenly, a tied up and beaten Seulgi is thrown in front of me. I yell, "Seulgi? Why are you here what's happening! Whoever did this is gonna die!" I hear a female chuckling behind me and suddenly a gun is pointed on my head. I hear her say, "Ha, the tied up man is making threats." Another voice says, "Sana, I told you I'm doing the talking." I recognize that voice. I say, "Mina?" She puts her hands on my shoulder and closes the distance. Mina kisses my lips and pulls away slowly leaving a thread of saliva. She says, "Ahhh, Why is it always the handsome ones?" Mina kicks Seulgi and Seulgi groans in pain. I yell, "STOP!" She laughs and says, "Jimin, I'm gonna be frank with you. They always say third times a charm and we're almost there." She cocks the gun and says, "Hoseok didn't listen, Taehyung didn't cooperate and now they're both dead. You're smarter than them right." They killed them. I yell, "Who are you!" She giggles and says, "You think this is a joke? You really think we'll just reveal our ident—" The one that goes by the name of Sana says, "I'm Sana, that's Momo, and this is our leader Mina! We are the J-Line Spies!" Momo then says, "I thought we weren't supposed to talk?" Mina shoots the roof and yells, "STOP! You're embarrassing me. I thought you two learned from the last guys. Now we have to kill another handsome one!" I gulp. She sighs and says, "Let's keep it simple, you have to tell us what you're planning with North Korea. The other two weren't completely useless but they took too long, good thing you have a loving girlfriend." I glare underneath Mina's feet at Seulgi who's crying on the ground. I stay quiet and she shoots Seulgi's leg. I still stay quiet and Mina says, "Wow, did you fall in love with me or something? Maybe..." She unties Seulgi and pushes her on the ground. Sana throws another gun on the ground and Seulgi starts to crawl there slowly. Mina sits on my lap and says, "One of you have to die and whether you answer before she makes it to the gun will determine who." Sana then claps and says, "Seulgi! If you the gun first, you'll live!" I stare at Seulgi struggling to get the gun. I can feel her pain and frustration and it's all my fault. If I never brought her into this then she would be happy and safe elsewhere. I can't take this anymore. The world thinks I'm dead so they can't blame me. I'm betraying my nation but my nation will never give me my Seulgi back. I yell, "A SURPISE ATTACK!" Mina grins and dials a number in her phone. She starts says, "Agent 24 J-Line. Briefing successful. Ready for extraction." She moves her face closer to me, only inches apart. I say, "Now let me and Seulgi go." She smiles and says, "Momo it's your turn." Momo aims her gun at Seulgi and I yell, "NOOOOO!" I hear a gunshot and all I see is Seulgi laying on the ground lifeless. Mina then stabs my neck with a tranq dart and I pass out.

I wake up on a bed and my head starts to hurt. It's 7:00 AM and it looks like I'm in a hotel apartment. I see two other beds and I check to see who's sleeping on them. The beds are empty but there are signs of someone sleeping there. I hear the doorbell and I slowly approach it. Was it all a dream? I open the door and see Taehyung and Hoseok carrying food. Oh thank God it was just a dream. But suddenly three figures appear behind them. I see those three girls who kidnapped me and killed Seulgi. Suddenly, confusion fills my head. I pinch myself. So this is real. I thought these two were dead. What happened to the war? I ask, "What year is it?" Mina chuckles and Sana answers, "You've only been knocked out a couple of days." I then nod then realize that I'm in a hotel room trapped with three Japanese spies. I see a butter knife on a nearby coffee table and quickly grab it. I run to Sana and hold it near her neck, treating her like a hostage. Momo then gasps while the other two guys stare at me nervously. Mina puts her hands in her pockets and slowly walks towards me.

I yell, "STOP! I will stab her." Mina pushes my arm so the knife would get closer to Sana and says, "Stab her, go ahead." Is she crazy? Would she just let anyone die? Taehyung approaches me slowly and says, "Jimin put the knife down, we can explain everything so just chill out." Did they brainwash him? Hoseok then says, "Seulgi was a spy." I lower my guard and start to think about what he just said. Suddenly, Sana knocks the knife of my hand and kicks my crotch. I lie down on the ground and Mina says, "Dammit, you should've killed her." Sana kisses Mina on the cheek and says, "Don't worry I'll never leave you Minari!" Mina pushes Sana away and says, "I'll talk to Jimin, everyone else get out." And like that Mina and I are alone again.

Mina says, "We're American spies. They ordered us to do some spy work in Korea to help the Americans establish peace and it kinda worked. But stuff went wrong and you found out who we are so we faked your death, brought you to America, and got you knew identities. Any questions?" After several minutes of processing, I finally say, "Seulgi was a spy?" Mina nods and says, "Yeah, she was a real good one. A Japanese spy disguised as a Korean, the smartest thing I have ever heard." I can sense the sarcasm in the last sentence. But the fact that this is happening is too much for me to handle. I ask, "What do I do now?" She smiles and says, "I guess live a normal life but I have to keep a watch on you. So you'll be living with me."

I smirk and say, "Is this your way of asking me out?" Mina blushes and says, "Don't get any wrong ideas." I slowly move closer to her and say, "Good because I can't move on from Seulgi yet." She leans back and says, "What's so cool about Seulgi? I met her and she's pretty boring." I say defensively, "She's a great dancer and was a really good cook." She sighs and says, "Whatever, she was probably faking all of that." I smirk and say, "Mina do you want to go out with me?" She looks at me in shock and stutters, "W-what?" I say, "I need to buy some groceries and household items. I was asking if you wanna go with me." She looks at me in disappointment and says, "No, I'm busy." She's totally into me.

Time Skip (A few years)

I've been living with Mina for a while now and it's been awesome. The war ended after a few peace negotiations and I got a job at her spy agency but I'm still a newbie and she's my superior so it's kinda awkward when we bump into each other. I can't say I've completely moved on from Seulgi but I think I found a new interest in Mina. I've learned so much about her and noticed that she's not just a coldhearted spy but a soft and cute little penguin. Of course, she never makes me talk about it because it'll ruin her reputation as one of the best spies ever. Our first impression was probably the worst one to ever exits but what followed was beautiful. I got to live my normal life I always wanted and with a girl I never knew I needed.

{I'm really bad at conclusions. Like all my stories have stale or incomplete endings. Any advice?}
