JiMina Oneshots/Short Stories [COMPLETED]

Collab Series: The News =2=

Jimin POV

After a few minutes of catching up with GOT7 members, we are alone with other Twice members. We are supposed to brainstorm some ideas to propose for the album and world tour. Jihyo speaks up and says, "For the album, I'm thinking we would break up into sub units. Line distribution and choreography will be complicated if all 16 of us perform at the same time, so the only song where all of us participate at the same time will be the title track." Namjoon nods his head and says, "Well we can break up into sub units today, then we can brainstorm within our units and propose all the ideas later." Jin says, "Should we do it by random or should we strategically make it?" Jeongyeon says, "I think it's better if we choose it, it helps us combines are strengths and cover our weaknesses." Everyone nods in agreement and we start discussing on the sub units. We agreed to 4 different sub units. 

Jungkook, Taehyung, Sana, and Tzuyu producing a powerful and colorful hip hop song

Namjoon, Jeongyeon, Jihyo, Nayeon, and Jin producing a sexy and alluring pop song

Momo, Hoseok, Chaeyoung, Suga, and Dahyun producing a chic and explosive song with a pinch of swag. 

Then there's Mina and I creating a ballad with a contemporary dance to complement it.

Mina asks, "Wait, why is it only me and Jimin oppa?" She doesn't want to be in a group with me... Nayeon giggles and says, "Mina you can drop the formalities. Plus, we thought it would be perfect for you two to sing a ballad type of song and you can both dance to it. Like a partner thing." I can hear Mina sigh in anger and I whisper to her, "If you don't want to, we can propose another idea..." She looks at me coldly and says, "It doesn't matter anymore." Namjoon then says, "Ok, that's enough for today. We can meet again next week." Everyone leaves the room each member talking to each other, leaving each other with Mina and I in the back. Before I say anything, Jeongyeon intertwines her arms with Mina and guides her away from me. As we make it to the exit, we see it's pouring outside. The rain seems like bullets from the sky and the thunder sounds like bombs blowing up in the sky. Our manager gets a call and says, "We'll wait for the weather to calm down then we can go." Momo then grabs Hoseok's arm and says, "Since we have time, I'll show you the cafeteria I was bragging about." The maknaes follow along and we go to a nearby waiting room and sit down. After waiting for a few minutes, I head to the bathroom. Once I come back, I notice that Mina isn't there anymore so I decide to start exploring.

As I'm walking near the practice rooms, I bump into several people. First, there was Stray Kids who were excited to meet me. They asked for some pictures and some tips. Then there was Day6, who didn't seem as excited but we still exchanged greetings. Lastly, I ran into Itzy, the new girl group. They bowed politely and introduced themselves. Yuna asks, "Why are you here Jimin sunbaenim?" I answer, "I'm surprised you haven't heard of our collaboration with Twice yet." Yuna chuckles then says, "Sorry sunbaenim, we just arrived from LA earlier." Yeji then quietly says, "So Soobin wasn't lying to me?" I then ask, "Have you seen Mina?" They start giggling with themselves and point at a practice room. I bow and they leave after bowing back. I check myself in a nearby mirror. Ok Jimin, don't mess up. Think about what you say. Don't mess up. You got this. 

I knock on the door and slowly enter. Mina is dancing to Day6's new song, Time of Our Life. The song doesn't have an official choreography yet so she was just free styling. I stand in awe as I see her fully engulfed by the song. Her movements flow perfectly with the tempo and her gaze matches the emotion of the song. She doesn't notice anything around her, it was like she only thought about the song and nothing else. Once it ends, she sees me standing near the door. Mina gets a bottled water and asks politely, "Jimin oppa why are you here?" I say, "Mina, stop pretending like you don't know me. You can drop the formalities." That sounded more rude than I thought it would. What a good start Jimin... She chuckles and says, "Ok JIMIN, or do you prefer BABE? JIMINIE? CHIMCHIM?" She is still mad at me... She asks, "So what do you want?" I say ignoring her question, "You were pretty good, I can't wait to work with you." She puts her water bottle down and says, "Uggh, I can't believe I have to deal with this for half a year." Mina ignores me and starts playing more music but this time I don't just stand there. I join her, making up things as I go. The music ends and we both sit on the ground panting.
