Jimin POV

Suddenly I hear giant doors opening and quickly notice where we are, I sit up and see that we arrived at the palace. I stand up and Yoongi yells, "WELCOME THE PRODIGAL SON! HE HAS RETURNED WITH THE BLACK SWAN! THE MYTH, THE LEGEND, THE HEIR TO THE THRONE PRINCE JIMIN!" I raise my arms and the people start to cheer but suddenly the mood changes. People start to boo and I turn my head to see that the wagon carrying Mina arrived. People start to throw rocks and insult her. "MURDERER!" "TRAITOR" "WITCH!" I made the right decisions. NO regrets. No regrets. We arrive to the king and father smiles brightly. He says, "Jimin, you sure have redeemed yourself. Go follow the maid and get changed. As for the wicked Black Swan, bring her to the dungeon and we will execute her first thing tomorrow."

I head to my old room and get ready for the big day. Nothing has changed. I look at a drawing of me and my friends. Ahh, I remember this. We were there for hours and the artist was so mad. Taehyung and Jungkook wouldn't keep still. Suddenly, a wave of tears start to flow. They're dead. Stop it Jimin, you avenged their deaths and caught the Black Swan. You are doing this for them. Tomorrow, they are going to dismiss my exile and I'll finally get to be the crowned prince again. My life is finally going back to where it was. The people love me again. My father is proud of me. I can finally live the life I was destined to have. But why do I feel so bad. 

I roll around my bed. Overnight, I twist and turn. I can't sleep. Jimin, you did the right thing. I have to see her again. I put a cloak on and make my way to the dungeon. The guards ignore me because they know who I am and I head to Mina's cell. She is still wearing the choker but she is more confined this time. She is hanging off the wall with chains on her arms and legs. She has a giant iron ball tied to her waist and spikes beneath her. If she tries to escape she'll fall into the spikes and even a divine warrior won't survive that. Mina knows I'm here and picks up her head to make eye contact. She has cuts on her face and her body is bruised everywhere. She deserves it Jimin. Stop feeling bad. Stop being guilty. You did the right thing. Mina puts her head back down and stays quiet. I laugh and say out loud, "You deserve this. You lied to me. Betrayed me. You said you fight for the helpless and innocent but in reality, you murder them. Ha, I can't believe I listened to your lies." She stays quiet and says, "You wouldn't think I would find out? Enjoy these last few hours because it'll be your last." Mina starts to cry and I falter for a moment. She's faking, Jimin. Just walk away. I walked away and made it to my room. Little did I know I was crying.

I lay down in my bead with tears falling down my face. Why are you crying? Stop! SHE'S A LIAR! A voice comes out of no where, "You know she's not a liar." I sit up and look around. The voice says again, "Jimin if you can hear me, help us out. You know she's telling the truth just delay the execution until tomorrow night. If you don't, it's over." I yell out loud, "WHERE ARE YOU! GET OUT OF MY HEAD!" In a few seconds, guards bust down my door and ask, "Is there a problem, your highness?" I blink several times and answer, "Ahh, sorry guys I just saw a bug on the ground.Hehehe." The guard sighs and says, "Jimin, you really are still a kid." They leave my room and I lay there thinking. What was that voice?

The Next Day

I make my way to the kitchen and see our chefs cooking meals. One of them prepared eggs with ketchup on it and I ask, "What's that for?" One chef looks at me and says, "It's for the prisoner." My eyes widened when I realized that the chef is Jin. He puts his finger on his lips and says, "Shhh" I gulp and say, "I'll have that too." He nods and starts cooking. I then say, "I'll personally bring this to the prisoner." Jin says, "It's ok your highness, I'll bring it down." I answer back, "I insist, unless you're going against royal orders?" He sighs and says, "Ok your highness." I take my food and Mina's food down to the dungeon. They untied her, all she has is the giant iron ball and the choker on. Her clothes are torn and her hair is messy. I pass the food through the bars and she ignores it. I tell her, "Mina, eat up. You'll die if..." I should have not said that. She turns her head towards me and picks up the plate. She's mad alright. I close my eyes getting ready for a plate of food to hit my face but it never came. I open them and Mina is eating everything. In a matter of seconds, she finishes the plate. I tell her, "Mina, since you only have a few minutes left. Do you mind telling me who you really are?" She scoffs and lay on her back. She closes her eyes and says, "Wendy, Yeri, Irene, Joy, Momo, Sana, Jihyo, Tzuyu, Youngjae, Daniel, Yugyeom, Mark, Hyunjin, Ryujin, Yeji, Yuna, Felix, Chan, Changbin, Woojin, Jennie, Rose, Jisoo, Soyeon, Moonbyul, Wheein." She chokes on her tears and continues, "and Bambam." I look at her confused and ask, "What?" She stops talking and guards enter the room. They open the prison cell and I ask, "Where are you taking her?" The guards say, "Your highness, you should prepare. The execution should begin soon." I stop them and say, "Wait, delay the execution. I need to talk to my father." They stand there for a minute then follow my orders.

I walk to the throne and ask my father, "Father, may we delay the execution to tonight?" He asks, "Why?" I answer back, "We should do it before a celebration. We could feast tonight after we execute the last ray of hope for the rebels." He smirks and says, "You're finally growing up, Jimin. I'm proud of you." I chuckle awkwardly and make my way to the kitchen. I say outloud, "Who is the chef that made the prisoner's food?" The head chef says, "It was the new guy, he said his name was Worldwide Handsome. He must be from the west." I say, "Bring him here." They bring Jin forward and I say, "Come with me." He follows me all the way to his room. He says, "What do you need, your highness?" I laugh and say, "Cut the act, Mina said something weird." Jin says, "Weird?" I nod and say all the names she said. Good thing I remembered all of them. Jin looks at me concerned and said, "Wait, are you one hundred percent sure she said Bambam?" I nod and he suddenly hugs me. I say, "What does it mean?" He cups my face with both his hands and says, "You'll find out soon but you have to trust me and just wait for the signal. Prepare all the stuff you need tonight and get ready to flee." He kisses both my cheeks and screams in joy. I push him away and say, "How do I know you guys aren't lying to me?" Jin bows and leaves the room. What was that about? Who are these people? Who's Bambam?

Time Skip (The execution)

Mina is tied to the pillar again and the two executioners bring out their giant axes. The king says, "TODAY IS THE DAY, ON THIS VERY HOUR. WE END THE REBELLION! WE DESTROY THE ONE THREAD OF HOPE THEY HAD! AND WHAT A BETTER DAY THAN UNDER IU'S COMET!" The people start to cheer and bring their drinks up. They all yell uniformly, "LONG LIVE THE KING! LONG LIVE THE CROWNED PRINCE! LONG LIVE THE ROYAL FAMILY!" Seulgi says, "Finally, I can finally stop my sword training and focus on my one real talent." I look at her clueless and she says dramatically, "Dancing!" I laugh out loud, "I'm probably a better dancer than you, you should do something more realistic and useful." She punches my arm and says, "What a buzz kill." She turns to mother and says, "MOM JIMIN IS BULLYING ME! EXECUTE HIM!" Mom laughs and says, "We'll execute him tomorrow, listen to your dad's speech. He worked really hard to prepare it." I look up at the sky and see the comet dad was talking about. But that name sounded familiar.

Wait, did he just say IU's comet? I stand from my seat quickly and look where Mina's tied. Seulgi says, "Jimin is there a problem?" I ignore her and focus on Mina's face. She suddenly smirks and begins to speak. She says outloud, "A day may come when we lose, but it is not today. Today we fight. jikan wa mugen ni atte mo maki modoshi wa dekinai watashi toiu namae no story." Suddenly, the ground starts to shake and her eyes glow bright white. Is this what Jin was telling me about? My chance to run?

{Yes, those are the lyrics to BTS' Not Today and Twice's  Breakthrough. This is romanized but the lyrics translate to "Even if there is no time limit, there is no way to rewind the story that has my name because there's only one time to live it."}
