JiMina Oneshots/Short Stories [COMPLETED]

Widow

Jimin sits in his office getting ready for a meeting with investors. His thoughts are suddenly interrupted by his secretary entering his office. He raises an eyebrow as his secretary says, "Mr. Park, there was an car accident." 

Jimin stares at her seriously and says in a low and cold tone, "Brief me." His secretary says, "Due to the icy roads, the van slipped and crashed outside a bridge into the water. 3 staff members got out with minor injuries but we faced 1 casualty." Jimin starts to get irritated and says, "One casualty?"

The secretary nodded and says, "The police reports stated that they saved all the equipment but were missing one man, who was later identified and stated as dead." Jimin taps his fingers on his tabled annoyed and curses, "Why now? The most important time of the year and something like this happens. What would investors think when they see that we saved all the equipment at the expense of a man's life?" 

His secretary bites her lip and bows her head down as it's unusual to see Jimin this angry. Jimin says, "Who's the man?" His secretary looks at a file and says, "Mr. Kim Taehyung." He asks, "Does he have a family?" His secretary reads, "A wife and a daughter." 

Jimin groans and thinks for a bit. He closes his eyes and furrows his eyebrows. After a minute of silence, Jimin says, "The investigation hasn't gone public yet?" His secretary shakes her head and he asks, "Were there any other witnesses, apart from our staff members?" She shakes her head again. 

Jimin says, "Tell the police to keep the investigation private. As for the staff members, make them sign a contract of silence and pay for their hospital bills with a paid week vacation." His secretary writes all he says and raises his head once he's quiet. He continues, "As for Mr. Kim, we have to make sure that his death doesn't go public. Pay his family compensation and make sure they don't say anything."

His secretary nods as she finished her notes.

Mina directly goes to the kitchen to prepare dinner. It's Ryujin's birthday today and both her and Taehyung promised a dinner party. Something small and intimate is something they imagined, so she's hoping that Ryujin doesn't bring her entire school. 

After preparing all the food, a sound of laughter and giggles brings a smile to Mina's face. Ryujin yells, "MOM!!!! I'M HOME!!!" Mina washes her hands and waddles towards the living room where she sees four other people. She smiles and says, "Hey, princess. How was school?" 

Ryujin replies, "It was awesome! Everyone wished me a happy birthday and were giving me candy and letters!" Chaeryoung says, "Oooo, some of them were love letters!" 

Beomgyu finally speaks up and says, "There were? From who?" Ryujin blushes and says, "I'll never tell." Yeji blurts out, "One was from Changbin!" Ryujin turns embarrassed as Chaeryoung continues to tease, "Ohhh! He has thicc arms!" 

Beomgyu chuckles and says, "He's weird. How can he be attracted to you?" Ryujin suddenly goes up close and says, "Why? You're not attracted to me?" Beomgyu chokes on air and says, "What? Why would I?" Ryujin rolls her eyes as Mina stares at them with a big smile on her face. 

Ryujin turns to Mina and asks, "Mom, when is dad getting home?" Mina stares at the clock and says, "He should be here soon. Once he gets here, we can eat." All 4 cheer as they start to distract themselves with games and the tv. 

Suddenly, their doorbell rings. Mina is quick to open it and to her surprise a man in a suit stands before her. She asks, "Can I help you?" The man stares at her blankly and hands her an envelope. Mina takes it and stares at the envelope addressed to her and her family. She's still confused and the man speaks up.
