JiMina Oneshots/Short Stories [COMPLETED]

Mistake

When Jimin makes a mistake but it works out.

Jimin is currently playing soccer in the park with his friends. They aren't playing serious as they are just kicking the ball around. After a solid 30 minutes of playing, they finally sit down and take a break. Namjoon shows up with water and some snacks and they all accept them.

Taehyung then points towards a group of girls and they all look. He says, "Those girls over there have been glancing at us every now and then." Hoseok turns to them and says, "Yeah, I noticed that too." Namjoon says, "Stop staring. Let them look at us, I don't mind." Jin coos and says, "They're pretty. Right, Jimin?" 

They all turn to Jimin who's currently staring at one of them. Jimin stays quiet and Jin asks, "Jimin, do you know them?" He stays quiet as all his friends pay full attention to him. Jimin finally breaks from the trance and turns back to his friends seeing all of them look at him. He asks, "What? Is there something on my face?" 

Jungkook scoffs and says, "Are you serious?" Jimin looks at them confused as Yoongi asks, "Did you not hear a single thing we said?" Jimin stays silent and Jin puts his arm around him, "So you do know them. Which one is it? The tall one? Bunny teeth? Strawberry shortcake? Literal tofu? The one walking like a penguin?" 

Jimin blushes and says, "She has a name." Jin raises an eyebrow as Jimin says, "She's not tofu. She's Dahyun." Jin laughs out loud and Jungkook playfully pushes him. Jungkook asks, "Have you spoke to her yet? Does she know your name?" 

Jimin shakes his head and says, "No, just... admiring from a far." Taehyung gets the soccer ball and says, "Then, why don't you talk to her. Use this." He tosses the ball to Jimin and Jimin stares at him clueless. 

Taehyung says, "Ahh, you noob. Accidentally kick this towards her direction. When she picks up the ball, start a conversation. It's that easy." Jimin smiles with a little confidence and says, "Okay." 

They all cheer him on as he winds up to kick the ball slightly. Jimin should've practiced first because what happened next was an utter surprise. 

Jimin launches the ball and hears a sudden yelp. His friends struggle to hold their laughter as Jimin's eyes widened. He just hit the girl with the soccer ball. But it wasn't just any girl...

He hit the wrong girl. 

Jimin rushes towards them as he bows and apologizes. He sees Dahyun in the side chuckling but that was the least of his worries. He goes to the girl on the ground and says, "I'm so sorry! Here, I'll help you up!" He grabs a hold of her hand and notices a small cut on her arm. 

Her friends are trying to hold their laughter. The girl stands up and puts her hands on her waist as she turns to them, "Yah, it's not funny! This is why I don't like going outside!" Jimin bows his head low as the girl cutely gets mad at her friends. 

The tallest one says, "It's just accident. It's not his fault you walked in front of his soccer ball." The girl exclaims, "YAH TZUYU! HE HIT ME!" Jimin bites his lip as he's just standing there. The girl turns with her face red from anger as she just glares at him. She huffs and says, "I'm going home." 

Dahyun finally speaks up and says, "Mina, don't be rude. This guy was apologizing, might as well let him pay you back for ruining your day." Jimin's head perks up as Mina says, "No, I'm going home." 

Jimin finally speaks up, "I-I can drop you home." Mina turns to him still heated in anger as she says, "You just hit me with a soccer ball. Now you expect me to let you drop you home? How can you be so bad at soccer that you hit some random pedestrian? I could have died!" The girl with bunny teeth holds her arm and says, "Mina, relax. He's just trying to make up for sucking at soccer."
