JiMina Oneshots/Short Stories [COMPLETED]

Soldier =1=

Slightly inspired by Descendants of the Sun. So if you watched the drama, you might already know how this ends.

Mina waits patiently in the mall as she repeatedly checks her phone. She pouts as Jimin is 5 minutes late. Suddenly, a tap on her shoulder makes her turn excitedly and as she sees her man, a bright gummy smile appears. 

Jimin smiles back at her and says, "Hey." Mina repeats with a quiet, "Hey." Jimin puts his hands on her waist and nears her. She looks at him in the eyes and says quietly, "You're late." He replies, "I'm barely late. What's 5 minutes anyway?" Mina pouts and says, "I have to cherish every second when it comes to you. You're always busy." 

Jimin smiles and says, "Life of a man in a uniform. But I do miss you. A lot." Mina tightens the hug and says, "As long as you promise me that you're coming back. I don't mind." He chuckles and says, "There's nothing dangerous about what I do. I'm just your everyday soldier doing patrols and military things." Mina backs away and pecks his lips as she says, "Enough with the public cuddling. We have a movie to watch and food to eat." 

Jimin is a soldier. He works for the Korean military and is good at what he does. He's reached high ranks at a very young age and is well known in the military as the 'Little General." He doesn't like the nickname but at least it's half good. 

But, he's also a liar. 

No, he's not just any ordinary soldier. He's part of a covert black ops team. A team that is unknown to the world. A team that has made several journeys in and out of South Korea. He risks his life everyday for his country and he's proud of it. But, he can't tell Mina. 

Jimin can't put her through that stress. He can't have her worry about him whenever he's gone. It's torture. So Jimin lied. He does feel guilty keeping the truth from Mina but the less she knows, the happier she is. 

After watching some cheesy rom-com, they head to an Italian restaurant. Jimin looks at the picture on the wall and says, "You know, I've been there before." Mina looks at the beautiful photo and says, "I'm jealous." Jimin chuckles and reaches over the table to pinch her cheeks. He says, "I'll bring you there one day." Mina swats his hand off her cheek and says, "Really?" Jimin chuckles and says, "My boss promised my squad a month vacation after our next deployment." 

Mina beams with excitement and says, "Really? As in, you're going to stay with me for a whole month?" Jimin smiles and nods as Mina squeals in excitement. She says, "Oh my god Jihyo, I need to prepare things. I have to clean my apartment, plan events and parties. OH, and Italy. Are we really going Italy?" Jimin nods again keeping his bright smile. Hearing Mina like this was something he always enjoyed. He's used to the masculinity of the military so hearing his girlfriend squeal like a teenage girl who got free tickets to a BTS concert refreshed his mind. 

After finishing dinner, he walks her to her apartment. They stand in front of the door as Mina says, "Are you going inside?" Jimin checks his phone and says, "Yeah, I can-" Before he finished his sentence, Mina pulls inside by his collar and kisses him passionately. After discarding their shoes and dropping her purse, Mina jumps into Jimin's arms. He holds her as she wraps her legs around him and carries her to the bedroom. 

Jimin drops her on the bed and proceeds to remove his shirt. He then goes on top of her and peppers her neck with kisses slowly making his way down to her chest then to her stomach then to her thighs.

That was another motivation for Jimin. A reason why he would never die or let anyone kill him. He loved the way Mina made him feel and he had to come home for it. He would never die unless she told him to.

Mina wakes up to a familiar feeling. An empty bed. She glances to the right to see Jimin already gone. A note on the nightstand catches her attention and she makes her way towards it.
