Mina is an immortal vampire who's been trapped in a mansion. One day, Jimin stumbles upon this mansion and accidentally releases her. Why was she trapped in the mansion? What will she do once she escapes?

Mina POV

A millennium ago...

"Execute them." I muttered a command to my troops. Like that, a whole kingdom was decimated by my troops. I've sailed across the sea into this giant continent and it's all for the taking. I've conquered this peninsula, now it's time for the mainland.

Thousands of warriors killed by my hands. Hundreds of thousands of lives killed by my command. Millions of people drowning in sorrow because of my actions. All because of my everlasting lust for power.

After we conquered lands stretched all the way to the Great Wall, I arrive home. My grand palace. Fit for the empress of Asia. I stand on the balcony and hear the roars of the people. "Long Live the Empress!" Little did I know, my life ended there.

As midnight hit, the coup started. Skilled assassins and warriors from all parts of the world snuck into my palace and kidnapped me. I was brought back to the peninsula which is now a barren wasteland, filled with destruction and death. 

I was tortured. Beaten, touched, burned, drowned, and hung. As I was living the last seconds of my life, I saw all of them. A prince from Thailand, a hunter from the outback, a warrior from China, a bandit from the west, a victim from the peninsula, a man of my very own blood, and a masked warrior. That's when I vowed for my revenge. 

Half dead, I was buried. The men were cheering over my corpse and I knew this wasn't the last they heard from me.

Back to the present

Hundreds of years ago, I woke up. I woke up in a mansion. Teeth sharpened and my lust for blood grew strong. I never burned at the touch of sunlight but it was irritating. I was stronger than before but now I have no followers.

I wandered around and only found 2 other people. Their names were Chaeyoung and Jeongyeon. They both said that they were my servants and that I could never leave this place. I've tried to escape but behind every window and every door there is a barrier.

I was fed animal blood to hold back my bloodlust and studied books that Chaeyoung brought home from her adventures. As centuries passed, my memories started fading and sooner or later, I couldn't remember the reason I was here. I thought I was stuck here forever, until one day.

Jimin POV

College life has been hard but as my second year approaches, I need to move out my dorm and into an apartment. There's more space and more lenient rules. I go apartment hunting with my friend Jaebum, he's a year older and is a filmography major. 

We are currently on our way to this 2 bedroom apartment that Jaebum saw. He said it was being rented at a reasonable price and that it'll be perfect for both of them. He suddenly gets a phone call. Jaebum says, "Slow down Seulgi, I can't understand anything you're saying." 

Jaebum quickly puts distance between his ears and his phone then says, "Jimin, the building is two blocks up. I'll catch up with you." I smile and say, "Good luck!" Then make my way to this apartment building.

I end up in front of this old and rundown building. I knock on the door once and no one answers. I wait for a few minutes then try again but this time the door slowly opens. I walk in carefully and say, "Hello, anyone here?" 

A woman then answers in Japanese, "Kon'nichiwa?" I look back to see a Japanese woman wearing an oversized hoodie which was a mix of turquoise and white.
