JiMina Oneshots/Short Stories [COMPLETED]

Jimin's eyes flutter to hear the beeping of a heart monitor and the scent of a hospital room. He feels weak and he is weak. He's been laying in the room for 3 days straight. Jimin feels his cheek and it's wet. Tears coat both his cheeks and he wonders, "Was it just a dream?"

Suddenly, the door opens and the nurse walks in. Jimin stares at her as she looks oddly familiar. The short bobbed hair nurse walks towards him with a clip board in one hand. She chuckles and says, "You're finally awake. I'll inform the doctor and your sister should come to visit in a few minutes."

He glances at her ID and thinks to himself, "Chaeyoung?" She quickly gets his temperature and does a regular check up then leaves the room. A few minutes later, Jihyo quickly barges into the room with an excited expression. Jimin looks at her and she starts to tear up. She says, "Thank God, you're awake."

Jimin smiles and says, "I'm glad too.... But do you know what happened?" Jihyo places a plastic bag filled with food and says, "The night of my birthday. You got into a car accident. Fortunately, you didn't break any bones or need any surgery."

Jimin asks, "How bad was it?" Jihyo takes out the food and casually says, "You just had a few bruises and massive cuts. They put stitches on you but that's pretty much it. You passed out on your way to the hospital but they said it was just blood lost. You weren't waking up though."

Jimin raises an eyebrow and Jihyo continues, "The doctors still didn't know why. They kept telling me that it was like you didn't want to wake up. But it doesn't matter now, cuz you're finally awake." He just smiles at her and says, "Sorry, I kind of ruined your birthday." She nears him and embraces him in a hug then says, "It's fine. The best birthday present I had so far was you staying alive."

The door opens again as the doctor and the nurse arrive. Jimin glances to see Chaeyoung walk in and to his surprise, Jin walks in. Jimin breaks out a laugh and Jin looks at him offended. Jin says, "What's so funny?" Jimin stops laughing and says, "I completely forgot you were a doctor."

Jin pouts and says, "This is how you treat me? You know how heartbreaking it was to see you come in an ambulance completely covered in blood! I ACTUALLY CRIED! I'm not an ugly crier at all but I was crying!" Jimin laughs and says, "Well thank you. I wouldn't trust anyone else with my life."

Jin smiles proudly and says, "Speaking about your life. You didn't sustain any massive injuries, such as broken bones, damage to any vital organs, or brain damage, so you should be able to be discharged by tomorrow. You do have to come back in a few weeks so we can take off your stitches and do one final test. But so far, you should rest and eat a lot. Doctor's orders."

The rest of the day was filled with visits from his friends, sleeping, and a lot of sleep. Before he knew it, he was leaving the hotel. Jimin waits in the front entrance of the hospital as Jihyo went to get her car. He suddenly feels a chill in his spine which causes him to turn. His eyes widened as he sees a face he never thought he would see again.

Mina.

Jimin unknowingly walks in front of her until they are face to face. Mina looks at him confused and asks, "Can I help you?" Before Jimin speaks, a loud young girl yells, "MOMMY!" Jimin's eyes dart to the kid as the young girl latches herself onto Mina's leg. He whispers quietly, "Mommy?" Mina smiles as she says, "Hey princess, did the doctor give you candy?"

Ryujin nods and she shows off the two lollipops to her mom. She then turns her direction to Jimin and Ryujin says, "Are you my dad?" Mina blushes and says, "Stop asking every guy that." She then turns to Jimin and says, "I'm sorry. She's always like this to strangers." Jimin just chuckles but his laughing stops when he hears a loud car horn.
