Chapter 5

Lenix's POV

After Liam left, I closed and locked my door and took a shower. When I slipped on my pajamas I flopped down on my bed and turned the tv on. I was going to call Libby like I said I would but it was nearly one-thirty in the morning so I decided not to. Today was an eventful day. I got a great sale on a new outfit which was at least one hundred bucks. I got that for twenty haha. And then I run into Liam Payne from One Direction... literally. I'm surprised I didn't knock him down to the ground considering I ran into him so hard.

For some reason I kinda felt as if he was tense. Not sure what that was about. Guess cause he wasn't disguised well enough for people to not recognize him-

My day dream of todays moment was interrupted by what I saw on tv.

'One Direction's Liam Payne was spotted in downtown Monroe, Louisiana with a mystery girl. They had their laughs and fun. Not to mention a nice dinner and movie to go along with it. Who is this mystery girl? His new girlfriend after only just now breaking up with Sofia?' The news lady reported.

I stared at the tv open mouthed as a footage of me and Liam crossed the screen. We were heading into the movies.

That did it, my fate was sealed. Just like my coffin would be once Libby saw this. I am so screwed.

My phone suddenly sang Fireproof.

I looked down at it expecting Libby to be sending me an angry text. But it was a number I didn't recognize. I opened it anyway.

Unknown: Hey, Nixxy! This is Liam! Have you seen the news?!

Me: Yup

Liam: What are you doing?

Me: Writing my will. Tell my Niall I love him.

Liam: Haha. Stop worrying, love. I'm sure your friend will only stay mad at you for a short time.

Me: Well you don't know Libby! If anyone messes with her man she goes crazy!

Liam: Well no one is messing with me Nixxy, so stop worrying. And you and I are just friends.

Me: Yeah that just so happens to be mystery girlfriend!

Liam: Calm down, love. Tomorrow you'll meet with the lads and we'll set up a date where you and your friend can come hang out with us.

Me: Awesome! That should get me out of the grave! I've already got one leg in it. Thanks Li! Or like my friend likes to call you, LiLi.

Liam: lol I like that. Makes me feel special ;p. Well I gotta go. We're finishing up here with 5SOS. And I want to get some sleep so I'll be fully awake when I come pick you up.

Me: Ok. Just be careful.

Liam: No problem. Bye and goodnight.

I placed my cell on the night stand after setting my alarm for eight o'clock and I stared at the ceiling.

In a way I was excited because I get to meet One Direction. But on the other hand I didn't get to meet them with Libby. She's so gonna kill me.
