Lenix's POV

After lunch, Liam took me to the movies. I was still really on edge. It felt like I was on a date with my best friends man. I mentally face-palmed. I'm a horrible person.

'Hey, you seem tense,' Liam whispered during the movie.

'I feel like a horrible person,' I whispered back.

'We're just two friends hanging out, love. Don't worry too much,' he whispered and smiled.

Maybe I'll help her out and buy a gun?

I sighed. 'Ok... if you say so.'

He nudged me playfully and continued watching the movie, Maze Running.

Liam's POV

I had to admit, I felt a little nervous right now. It was half way through the movie and I could almost hear my heart beating in my ears. I was surprised Lenix didn't hear it. I wasn't sure why I was nervous. I guess it was because I was in public without a proper way to disguise myself. And I feared that the pops would find me and take secret pictures of me with her and say we're dating even though we weren't.

I only liked Lenix as a friend. I guess she was like a little sister to me.

Was she really nervous or was she just joking? I glanced at her and she looked like she was falling asleep.

When I nudged her she looked up at me patheticly. I had to smile at this.

'Falling asleep?' I spoke in her ear.

She slightly nodded as the credits flashed across the screen.

'Let's go then, love,' I said standing up.

She rose from her seat and nearly tripped. I grabbed her wrist and pulled her up a little too fast.

'Hey, easy man. I'm not wonder woman ya know,' she said pushing herself away from me.

I felt my face grow hot with embarrassment.

Ok Liam, calm down. She's just a friend and her friend likes you. Why am I talking to myself?

'Sorry, love. Let's go and get you home,' I said leading the way out the theater.

I walked her to her car and opened the door as soon as she unlocked it.

'I'll get my car and follow you,' I said as she climbed in.

'Why?' she asked looking at me confused.

'Well it's nearly twelve in the morning and I want to be sure you get home safely,' I said, nervously rubbing the back of my neck.

She smiled and nodded. 'Alrighty.'

I closed the door and walked to my car. I also wanted to get her number so I could see if she wanted to meet the lads tomorrow.
