The Happy Accident

Chapter 21

Liam's POV

I was trying to hold in my excitement when Niall logged off Skype. We were closer to Lenix's place already and I could nearly hear my heart beat in my ear.

'Liam?' Niall said softly, his voice a bit off.

'Yeah, Ni?'

'Are you nervous?'

I look at him, his blue eyes staring out the windshield.

I wasn't the only one nervous. Thank God.

'Extremely,' I said nodding.

'What are you most nervous about?' He looked at me this time.

That was a good question. I guess I was nervous because I was going to see Lenix again. Or maybe because I was meeting her friend? I was so confused. My emotions weren't acting right. Cue poker face.

'I guess I'm nervous about saying the wrong things and insulting them,' I said looking at my gas gage. I needed gas. 'What about you?'

'I'm nervous about seeing Lenix again. I like her a lot, Liam. She's very... interesting,' he stared out the window again.

That she was. She was very interesting. I kinda felt a little jealousy when Niall talked about her. I had to keep telling myself that she likes Niall and Niall likes her. I wondered if Harry liked her too? He usually flirts with her. Then again he always flirts, no matter who they are.

'We're here!' Niall said loudly, nearly making me jump out of my skin.

'Cool...' was all I said.

I parked and we both walked up the stairs. Well Niall kinda ran. Chill man.

'Knock knock!' he called and rapped on the door with his knuckles.

'Whose there?!' I hear the joyful voice of Lenix.

'Pwease!' Niall chuckled.

'Pwease who?' I hear her giggle, followed by someone else giggle.

'Pwease let me in... it's cold out here!' Niall burst into laughter.

That wasn't that funny honestly. But apparently Lenix thought it was.

She unlocked the door with a bright smile on her tan face.

'Welcome to my fortress, gentlemen. Where you're the main dish! Muahahaha!' she threw her head back and laughed.

Niall acted scared. 'No please don't eat us! We're too young to die.'

'Would you just let them in so I can hug them!' Libby called from the kitchen.

'Stop yelling at me woman!' Lenix said stepping aside.

'I can yell if I want too!' Libby said loudly.

I think I found Louie's twin.

'Lads, this is my best friend, Libby,' Lenix introduced us to her dirty blonde friend.

I kid you not, I couldn't stop staring at her. She was cute.
