This winter has been interesting. Unlike the others who were told to stay together and do minimum runs, I was allowed to run out and scrounge for supplies and such. I did it everyday. If I was gone for a few days and they moved locations, they'd let me know when I'd show up. I carried more than just a bat with me now a days. I carry a knife, a throwing knife set with a long sword, and a crossbow. Currently though, I was sick, resting unhealthily in a storage unit we were holed up in for now.
"We can't just let her die Rick," Daryl countered.
"We won't," Rick growled out, "we just need the medicine."
"Tell me where to go and I'll go get it."
    "By yourself," Maggie questioned.
"She's done it plenty of times."
"Because she has exceptional hearing. You don't," Rick countered, "you're not going alone Daryl."
"There's no one else that'd be qualified to go Rick, and I ain't lettin' her go out without a bang."
I chuckled before it turned into a terrible cough. Daryl and I got close on the road, I even told him I wanted to go out with a bang, not a whimper.
    "Okay."
I knew Rick would eventually give in. Daryl always fought the hardest when it came to me and my health. Hershel would ease into it, but wouldn't try as hard. Same with Carl. Daryl walked up to me and I nodded at him.
    "Don't get killed," I croaked.
    Daryl chuckled before he left.

    -Week later-

I got kidnapped while out on a quick run for some supplies. They beat the crap outta me, but I wasn't budging as much as they wanted me to. They knew I was part of a group, and they wanted to know where.
I didn't tell, I kept my mouth shut. But one unlucky guy got too close and I bit into his neck, pulling off a chuck of flesh as he bled out. I spat it out and eased out of my chains.
They never saw it coming. I collected my items, killed a few more guys before leaving without a trace. The rest of their group got scared and didn't bother chasing after me after seeing the bite mark in the first guys' neck. I found my way back to the others and let out a sigh of relief as I wiped the blood off my mouth. They didn't need to know of the animalistic way I just killed a guy. It was a 5 mile trek, but it was worth it.
    "Where've you been," Daryl growled.
"Kidnapped," I stated, "5 miles back. We gotta move."
Rick nodded and we all packed up and left. Daryl didn't question my kidnapping as we left. He knew this happened every once and awhile on my runs, and he hated that I kept going out. But he knew I'd always find my way back.
