I stood off to the side, staring at the newcomer. "Jesus" as he calls himself. I was studying him, letting the others chat with him considering I don't do well with people regardless. He seemed friendly, but he also seemed gay.
"Your world's about to get a whole lot bigger," Jesus smiled.
"And my world just growled—Rick where's your food," I casually commented, turning towards the kitchen.
"June," Rick called, "don't eat the apples, we're already low on those."
"So eat the apples is what you're saying."
"June!"

We were getting things packed and ready to go for our trip to where ever it is Jesus lives. I was helping get things into the RV while quickly grabbing my gear.
"Let's chew up some asphalt," Abraham called.
I climbed into the RV after Rick and before Daryl, letting him shut the door behind him. With the door shut, we moved, heeding Jesus's directions. I listened into Abraham's question to Glenn and coughed, trying to cover my laugh. I covered my mouth and leaned back from where I was located. Daryl shot me a confused look.
"It's best not to ask," I responded, shaking my head.
I smiled softly at Rick and Michonne holding hands. Adorable. My smile disappeared when I noticed the crash ahead while Rick slowed down.
"Hey Rick," Daryl called, "what's goin' on?"
"We got a crash ahead," Rick responded, "looks like it just happened."
"It's one of ours," Jesus stated.
Rick came to a stop and we all hopped out. By the looks of it they hit too many walkers. My eyes glanced down at the dirt before Daryl even pointed them out to Rick. I started after the tracks, letting the others follow behind me.
"Give me a counter," Rick ordered.
"Besides those dumbasses stuck in the car, pretty clear right now," I shrugged, continuing  walk.
"Round?"
"Rick. I'm not Superman, I can't hear through walls."
I knocked on the door to the building that the tracks lead to, and let Rick point his gun at the door.
"They gotta be in there," Jesus spoke.
"We moving in or what," Abraham questioned.
"How do we know this ain't firecrackers in a trash can," Daryl taunted.
"You don't," Jesus sassed.
"We'll get your people," Rick commented, "you're staying here with one of us."
"That's the deal," Michonne agreed when Jesus looked back at her for help.
"Will you stay," Glenn asked Maggie.
"Yeah," Maggie agreed, "y'all go. Just be careful."
"Yeah," Rick agreed, "We're gonna be careful. June?"
"No. I'd rather she goes with y'all."
Rick turned to look at me, wanting my input. I opened the door and walked in. I heard one of the boys scoff behind me. I had my bat ready to swing as I lead us through the building.
"Three," I whispered to the others.
Rick and Michonne followed close behind me as we met up with the walkers that were turned away from us. Rick and Michonne lead while I leaned in the doorway.
"Come on out," Michonne comforted, "we're not gonna hurt you. We're friend of us Jesus. We're here to get you out."
"There more of you," Rick questioned.
"Two more, they ran ahead," the woman responded.
"Of course," I scoffed.
"Hey," Rick warned, "not now."
I huffed before turning and heading back the way we came, the others following with all the people that were in here.

We were all shoveled into the RV. Daryl had to "suffer" with me sitting on his lap. He argued and grumbled about it, but I knew he enjoyed it, but he'd rather it be in private. I had closed my eyes and rested against Daryl's shoulder, making him adjust his arms to keep me on his lap. When we stopped, it was more because we were stuck than the fact we were there.
"Rick," I sighed agitated, "if you can't get it once, don't keep doing it. You're only gonna make it worse."
"No worries," Jesus comforted, "we're here."
I groaned, throwing my arm over Daryl's shoulder and burying my head into his neck. The others chuckled at my behavior.
"Hey," Rick stated, "kindly okay?"
"Okay, okay," I sighed, climbing off Daryl's lap.
We climbed out of the RV and looked at the woodened wall off community.
"That's us," Jesus stated, "that's the Hilltop."
I hummed in appreciation. Jesus started forward first, so we all followed after. I swung my bat in my hand like a professional.
"Stop right there," someone ordered.
Everyone drew their guns, I just continued walking, swinging my bat without a care. Jesus had turned to my people.
"Whoa," he commented.
"You gonna make us," Daryl taunted.
"Jesus, what the hell is this," one of the guys commented.
"And you told me kindly," I snorted, turning to Rick, "you're not being too kindly yourself."
Rick grunted at my comment before he lowered his gun. I smirked, spinning slightly in the mud in amusement. I hummed lightly while I did so. I ignored that everyone was being hostile, enjoying my own amusement.
"Open the gates, Cal," Jesus ordered.
I froze on the spot, mid-step of a spin. I stared to the left of me in shock.
"Hey," Daryl comforted quietly, "it ain't him."
I relaxed and looked at the ground before following them all in. Livestock, farms, smelting furnace. It was...different. I looked around, not even bothering to listen to whatever Jesus was blabbering on about.
"C'mon," Daryl commented, pulling me lightly along.
We entered the giant home. It was nice, the whole building and their living environment. Until some guy opened the door behind Daryl.
"Jesus," he greeted, "you're back."
I already disliked the guy. Just by how he presented himself.
"With guests."
"Everyone, this is Gregory," Jesus introduced, "he keeps the trains running on time around here."
"I'm the boss."
"Well, I'm Rick. We have a community-"
"Why don't y'all go get clean up, hmm?"
I let out a low growl. Definitely didn't like him.
"We're fine."
"Jesus will show you where you can get washed up then come back down here when you're ready. It's hard to keep this place clean."
"Yeah. Sure."
Jesus and Rick shared a look, and Jesus showed us the way. I was walking in front of Rick and Maggie.
"You clean up first. You talk to him."
"Why," Maggie asked.
"I shouldn't. Best not to take June with you either, she'd probably kill him when she has the chance," Rick explained, "and you gotta start doing these things."
"Damn straight," I turned slightly towards them.
