BLOOD OVER FAMILY, I GET IT

We waited and watched. Merle punched Daryl but I kept myself in place. Digging my heels into the ground.
"June," Rick cautioned, "careful..."
"I know," I grumbled, "I know..."
I noticed two people that had crossbows. I recognized both of them. Daryl's...and mine. They brought out walkers and Maggie was getting antsy.
"Not yet..."
"When June, when," Maggie whispered, "when Merle beats the shit out of Daryl?"
"Merle won't do that. He wouldn't be that dumb after just getting his brother back...trust me."
I held my hand as I listened in.
"You really think this asshole's gonna let you go," Daryl questioned.
"Follow my lead, little brother," Merle stated, "we're getting out of this right now."
Merle pulled Daryl up and they faced against the walkers. I raised my hand and then down it went. Maggie started shooting. Rick let the smoke grenade go and shot. Everyone ran in fear. I ran in and decked the guy who had my crossbow. I snagged it from him and decked him again before leaning close.
"My crossbow."
I rushed back to the others with Daryl and Merle following. Daryl getting his own crossbow.
"Daryl," Rick commented.
"Let's go," I growled, still running.
We ran until we got to the side wall.
"They're all at the arena," Merle commented, "this way."
"You're not going anywhere with us," Rick growled.
"Hey," I snapped, stopping the caravan, "we'll deal with this later. Right now, step one is to get away from this hellhole. Alright?"
Rick seemed to hesitate before agreeing. Merle opened a spot and Daryl looked back.
"Rick, come on," Daryl commented, "we gotta go."
"Go," Rick ordered Maggie and I.
Maggie went first after Daryl and I followed after with Rick taking the rear.
"A little help would be nice," Merle stated.
"Shut up," I grumbled, taking aim and shooting.
Daryl soon followed suit. I rushed forward, grabbing our arrows before we started running again.

It was dawn by the time we got closer to the car. I was beyond exhausted and just wanted to go home.
"Glenn," Rick called out.
"Rick," Glenn replied, "Rick. Rick. Thank god."
Rick stepped up quickly.
"Now we got a problem here. I need you to back up."
Then all hell broke lose and I started to form a headache by all the yelling, bitching, and moaning. I was growing frustrated by the minute. Eventually I let out a loud bark, which would draw walkers sooner or later. Everyone shut up and turned towards me.
My eyes were dilated in frustration. My eyes had locked onto Daryl and he glanced away uncomfortably. I then locked eyes on Glenn, who did the same, Rick who followed and Michonne who lowered her sword just enough.
"You done," I growled out.
Everyone was silent. I kicked off the tree and shoved my way through them and headed for the road and started for home.
"Where you goin'," Maggie called.
"Home. Where you pricks aren't screamin' at each other like it's World War II."
"Ju-"
I spun around and eyed Rick dangerously. He shut his mouth quickly. I nodded.
"That's what I thought Rick. You all chill now?"
Everyone shifted except Merle, who looked a little unease by my presence. I walked up to them.
"I asked if you're chill now."
"We're chill," Daryl mumbled.
I nodded, "good. Now, three of us are hurt. We're all exhausted, some more than others. We've all pretty much had a shitty 24 hours, let's chalk this up as a rough day. Now lets discuss this like damn adults that we are. Not damn 13 year olds that wanna start fights every chance they get."
"Get that think outta my face," Daryl told Glenn.
"Man," Merle laughed, "look like you've gone native, brother."
"No more than you hanging out with that psycho back there."
"Oh, yeah, man. He is a charmer, I got to tell you that. Been putting the wood to your girlfriend Andrea. Big time, baby."
"What," Glenn questioned, "Andrea's in Woodbury?"
"Right next to the governor," Daryl stated.
Michonne went to rush but I let out a low growl.
"I told you to drop that," Rick growled out, "June. Enough."
My eyes normalized as my stance relaxed slightly.
"You know Andrea? Hey, do you know Andrea?"
"Yep, she does," Merle informed, "her and blondie spent all winter cuddling up in the forest. Mm-mmm-mmm. Yeah. My Nubian queen here had two pet walkers. No arms, cut off the jaws, kept them in chains. Kind of ironic now that I think about it."
"Shut up, bro," Daryl huffed.
"Do you ever shut up," I sighed, looking at Merle.
"Hey, man, we snagged them out of the woods. Andrea was close to dying," Merle explained.
"That's a no."
"Is that why she's with him," Maggie questioned.
"Yeah. Snug as two little bugs. So what you gonna do now, Sheriff, huh? Surrounded by a bunch of liars, thugs, and cowards."
"Shut up," Rick ordered.
"Oh, man, look at this. Pathetic. All these guns and no bullets in them."
"Merle, shut up," Daryl ordered.
"Shut up yourself! Bunch of pussies you roll-"
I walked up and pinched the back of his neck, knocking him out cold.
"Asshole," I grumbled.
