*Mal's POV*

"Ah! Smells like common folk." Emma's mother, Liz, says.

"Come back here, now! Corbyn! Ingrate." Saskia shouts as Corbyn runs into the limo.

"Bye-bye" Tim says in awfully weird way.

The limo driver than speaks into his headset, "The jackals have landed"

Rude.

"Bring home the gold!" Tim shouts.

"Bring home a puppy" Saskia says.

"Bring home a prince" Liz states.

Man these people are embarrassing.

The four of us finally get into the limo and the driver starts the vehicle.

Emma starts doing her make-up and I simply roll my eyes at her since I couldn't be bothered by her actions.

I look out the windows in the limo. I'm not gonna be seeing this place for a while. Well at least until we get the wand from fairy godmother.

"You're looking a little washed out. Let me help you out"

Emma takes her make-up brush and applies highlights on my cheekbones.

Oh my gosh will she ever stop?

I swoop her hand away and tell her, "Ew, stop. I'm plotting"

"Well, It's not very attractive"

Out of nowhere, Corbyn and Jonah's attention is at the small buckets of candy in front of us. They look at each other again and here we go.

They started to fight over the candy and each of them picked up a brown-milky looking thingy.

While the boys were fighting, Em and I just grabbed a piece of candy gracefully.

Corbs and Jo need to be more civilised people, at the right time of course.

"Oh! These! It's salty like nuts, but it's sweet like I don't know what"

Corbyn started to describe the thing he was eating. I think its chocolate. Based on what I've heard that's how it tastes and looks like.

Jonah snatches the chocolate from Corbyn's hands.

"Let me see. Ew!"

He throws the chocolate at Corbyn and he shouts in pain.

"Look!"

My attention was drawn to the front of the limo and Emma, Jonah, Corbyn and I screamed out of fear. How was the driver silent at this point of time?

We were about to drop into the deep blue sea where absolutely no car could drive on!

"We're going to die! Ah!" I screamed.

"It's a trap" Corbyn yelled.

At this point of time we were all looking downwards not daring to look up at the dreadful scene.

Wait

Hold up.

Why aren't we dead yet?

All of us looked up.

"What just happened?" Jonah said.

"It must be magic" Emma said as if she was fangirling.

We were all

I bent towards the front of the limo and saw a red button.

"Hey. Did this little button just open up the magic barrier?" I politely asked the driver and pointed at the button.

"No, this one opens the magic barrier. That one opens my garage. And this button..." The slider between me and the driver went up and I gave a slight sheepish smile before it closed entirely.

I turned back to my best friends and sat back in my seat.

"Okay. Nasty. I like that guy" I said.
