32. A Cheater

*Valerie's POV*

"Woah" I went as the ball wet into the hole.

Right now Zach, Queen Myta, King Josh, Emma, Corbyn, Jonah and I are playing a game called, 'croquet'.

"Come on dude" Corbyn lifted up Dude.

"Here stand up"Zach said.

It was my turn to hit the ball so I walked up to the play area.

I held the stick but cluldnt seem to gwt it right. It just felt weird holding it.

I felt someone's arm around my waist and held the stick with me.

"Here" A familiar sound whispered in my ear.

Zach moved the stick in order to move the ball from its original position. I watched as the ball went into the hole and we all cheered. Zach let go of me and I felt a little weird, if I'm being honest.

I noticed a quite old lady walking towards me.

"Hello there" She greeted.

"Hi"

"Now have we met?" The old lady asked.

"No, I don't think so. I'm new. I'm sort of like a...transfer student" I replied.

"Oh, yes"

"Granny" Audrey walked towards the elderly. So it's her grandma?

"Oh, Audrey! Give Grammy a kiss, dear"

"Grammy?" I questioned.

"Sleeping Beauty's mother. Grammy, I don't think you want to be talking to this girl. Unless you feel like taking another hundred-year nap" Audrey stared into my eyes.

"What? You!" The old lady screamed, which made everybody to turn their head towards us, "How are you here? And how have you stayed so young?"

"Queen Leah, It's okay. Jessica is still on the island. This is her daughter, Valerie. Don't you remember my proclamation to give the new generation a chance?" Zach stood beside me.

"A chance to what, Zach? Destroy us? Come on. You remember, don't you? The poison apples. And the spells. Spells. My daughter...was raised by fairies because of your mother's curse. So her first words, her first steps, I missed it all! You mustn't trust her"

"I'm so so sor-" I got cut off by Jack.

"Go away! Stay away from her!" Jack pushed me behind which left me startled.

"Don't do this, Jack" Zach warned Jack.

"What? They were raised by their parents, Zach. What do you think villains teach their kids? Huh? Kindness? Fair play? No way, okay? Uh-uh. You stole another girl's boyfriend" Jack looked back at me.

"Hey! Hey!" Zach interrupted.

"Oh. You enjoy hurting people. And you, you're nothing but a gold digger and a cheater"

"Mirror, mirror, in my hand, who's the biggest jerk in the land?" Emma stepped forward and took out her magic mirror.

The magic mirror immediately showed Jack's face on it and Emma showed it to him.

"What? Come on!"

"Back off, Jack. All right? Back off!" Jonah screamed at Jack.

Emma took out the perfume-looking-bottle which made people faint for a few minutes. She sprayed it twice on Jack and in a mater of seconds Jack fell on the floor with a loud thud.

"Jack! Jack? Jack! Emma did something to Jack!" Audrey screamed as she bent down to check if Jack was okay.

"Wake up! Check if he is okay!" Tate yelled at Audrey.

"Come on, Val" Emma pulled me to the dorm room while I stared at Zach who looked extremely hurt.

"Guys!" Zach tried to calm down everyone.

"Jack wake up!" Tate shook Jack.

"Come on Jack!" Daniel sprayed some water on Jack which made him have slight movements.

"I feared something like this would happen" King Josh told Zach.

"This isn't their fault!" Zach yelled.

"No son, it's your's" King Josh walked away with Queen Myta.

"Mom?!" Zach yelled and Queen Myta just looked at him with disappointment written all over her face.

In a matter of seconds Jack was conscious again and Audrey asked him what happened to him.

"I had this dream..."
