*Valerie's POV*
"I think I wanna be good" I confessed after thorough thinking
I stared at Zach as if we were the only two there.
"You are good" Zach replied
"How do you know that?!" I snapped, which by now I'm sure you know I do a lot.
"Because-because I'm listening to my heart"
I put down the wand that I was still holding up.
"I want to listen to my heart, too and my heart is telling me that we are not our parents" I turned back to my former friends.
"I mean, stealing things doesn't make you happy. Tourney and victory pizza with the team makes you happy" I said to Jonah.
"And you, scratching Dude's belly makes you happy. Who would've thought?" Corbyn giggled.
"And Emma...you do not have to play dumb to get a guy. You are so smart!"
"And I don't want to take over the world with evil", I faced the crowd, "It doesn't make me happy. I want to go to school. And be with Zach. Because Zach makes me really happy. Us being friends makes me really happy. Not destroying things. I choose good, you guys" I finally turn back to Corbyn, Jonah and Emma. I put my hand in front of me hoping that they would choose good.
After an intense 5 seconds, Jonah puts his hand on mine and I smiled to myself.
"I choose good too" Emma does the same as Jonah
All of us turn our head to Corbyn who was holding Dude in his arms.
"So, just to be clear, we don't have to be worried about how really mad our parents will be? Because they're gonna be really, really mad" We all laughed.
"Your parents cant reach you here" Zach interrupted.
"Okay then. Good" Corbyn agrees.
