I sit next to the fire, having decided to stay within the safety of the camp, even if it meant having to watch John Murphy start another brawl with some other innocent kid. It would be better than going out into the wilderness and coming back with a spear in my chest.

"Murdering Matthews." I hear a voice from behind me, and don't need to turn around to recognise who it belongs to. "Not heading on the trip with the rest of the privileged?" Murphy probably smirks.

"Moron Murphy. Still obsessed with me, what after like 2 years?" I question, playing with a couple sticks, a small smile perks on my lips.

I hear him moving closer behind me. "You always were a narcissist."

"It's not narcissism if it's true, John." I know referring to him by his first name annoys him in the same way 'murdering Matthews' annoys me.

"I'll leave you alone," He then slowly sits besides me. "If you give me what I want."

I instantly chuckle. "I'm not having sex with you, Murphy."

"I just wanted a kiss on the cheek, you can't even do that?" He raises a brow and I glare at him.

"Go to hell Mu-"

"Murphy!" Bellamy calls, the sound of his voice alone annoying me, cutting me off and I turn for a moment, watching him walk towards us.

"We're leaving now, grab your stuff.." Bellamy orders.

"I'll be coming back for that kiss." He winks at me and I roll my eyes as I hear Murphys feet prod away, only I don't hear Bellamy's move at all.

"Firecracker, you're coming too." Bellamy surprisingly calls from behind me, referring to me with this new stupid nickname he's concocted.

I scoff. "Like hell I am."

"I'm serious. If I'm leaving this camp, you're not staying. Especially since you've made it apparent you aren't exactly my biggest fan." He tells me forcing me to turn around.

I chuckle. "You're scared I'll start a rebellion whilst you're gone? Turn all these people against you?" I respond, humorously. "I'm touched you think I'm capable of that."

"Very funny. Let's go." He answers with a serious face, but I don't budge.

"I'm not going anywhere. Especially with you." I tell him.

"Yes you are. Or so help me god, I will pick you up and carry you out of this camp." He threatens. And from the look in his eye I know he isn't lying. I sigh deeply before grabbing my jacket, rising to my feet.

"Fine." I simply put. "Just stay away from me."

I then walk past him and in the direction of Clarke and Wells, who are accompanied by Finn also.

"Looks like I'm joining your suicide mission." I grin, alerting them I'm here. Clarke turns around with a small smile on her face.

"I'm glad you decided to come." She says and I nod, even though I was more forced.

"So am I." Wells says from besides her, and I nod over at him too. A day trip with my friends and the people I despise most in the world. This should be fun.

We continue trekking u through the forest looking for Jasper. I don't know where he is or the how the hell we are gonna find him, or even if we eventually will. Hell, we might even end up just like him before we get there.

I decide to walk faster, knowing that the quicker we get to Jasper, the quicker we get home and I can stop worrying about the fact the grounders could be watching us right now, ready to make their next move.
