For the past few days Todoroki had been more distracted than usual. He was quieter, if that was even possible, and seemed to be lost in thought. The others quickly took notice but when they asked what was the matter he'd just brush them off with a "it's nothing."

They eventually decided to just let him be but not before giving his girlfriend a quick heads up. Of course y/n knew Todoroki was acting odd but wasn't sure how to go about it. Todoroki was usually quiet, closed off and touchy when it came to his personal problems, even if the person asking was his own girlfriend.

That didn't stop her from keeping him company and occasionally asking him if he wanted to talk or if he was okay. She was fine with letting him be until it became too much.

"Sho, I can see this is clearly bothering you so why don't you just tell me what's wrong, so I can help you?" Silence, not surprisingly really. Every attempt in getting him to open up was shut down by a "I'm fine" or just silence. "Is it your dad again?" She asked but once again, silence.

"Shoto-" She barely got his name out when he snapped. "Y/n can you just be quiet for one second?" Todoroki glared at her, immediately silencing her as she stared back at him in surprise. He huffed and looked away, spacing off again.

Y/n stared at him for a few more seconds before finally snapping out of it. The two sat in silence for what felt like hours. Y/n had stayed to keep him company, without uttering a single word, for the past few hours.

Todoroki finally glanced over at her as she was laying on the couch with her head dangling off the side slightly, arms extended as she flipped through a book. "Do you want to go eat something?" He asked but she just continued to flip through the book without acknowledging that he'd spoken to her.

He sighed and walked over to her, snatching the book out of her hands. "Stop ignoring me" the two stared at each other for a bit before Y/n sat up and walked out of the room without saying a word. "Seriously?" He scoffed but went after her anyway.

"Y/n, come on" he called out as he followed her into his room, watching her bury herself in the blankets, her back facing him. He rolled his eyes as he stood in the doorway before apologizing.

Y/n rarely ever argued with him opting to give him the silent treatment and ignore him until she decided she wanted to speak to him again. It was childish, but it got to Todoroki every single time.

"Y/n. Please stop ignoring me" he spoke quietly as he sat beside her, poking at her side. "I'll even buy you some (f/f)" he taunted making you peek over at him. "And my favorite ice cream" she added making Todoroki smile slightly. "Yeah and your favorite ice cream."
