You and Steve had broken up a couple months back.It was a bad break up but everything was especially awkward because your brother Dustin was friends with him.Dustin had just come back from camp and he wanted to see Steve because the rest of his friends had ditched him.You had explored the mall for a little before you got bored and decided to see what was taking Dustin so long.He said that he was going to an ice cream parlor.The only ice cream parlor happened to be Scoops Ahoy,you prayed that Steve wasn't there because things would just become awkward.You entered Scoops Ahoy only to realise that Steve was right next to Dustin.
''Shit.''You cursed.
You walked towards the two of them.
''How many children are you friends with?''The girl at the counter asked Steve.
You couldn't help but laugh at the comment which caused all attention to be on you.
''Henderson.''Steve said giving you a nod.
''Harrington.''You said nodding in response.
''I'm Robin.''The girl at the counter said putting out her hand for me to shake.
''Y/N.''I said shaking her hand.
''Wait your that Y/N?''Robin asked.
I looked at her confused but at the corner of my eye I saw Steve glare at Robin.
''Well it was nice meeting you Robin but me and my brother have to go.Oh and bye Harrington.''You said before walking away with Dustin.
''Bye Y/N.''You heard from behind you.
You couldn't help but smile,that was the first time Steve had called you by your first name since you two had broke up.
