Y/N and her sister Erica walked into scoops ahoy, Erica had forced Y/N into coming along with her because Erica apparently had won free ice cream for life and wanted to take advantage of this opportunity.
"What flavour do you want?" Erica asked Y/N as the pair approached the counter.
"Y/F/F." Y/N stated, as she and Erica waited at the counter. A cute girl with a scoops ahoy uniform was stood behind the counter, headphones on as she listened to whatever music was on her walk man.
Erica rudely tapped the bell, even after the worker took off her headphones.
"I'll have a chocolate and strawberry ice cream cone and my sister will have two scoops of Y/F/F." Erica requested as she tapped her foot against the floor, impatiently waiting for her cone.
The girl at the counter merely rolled her eyes before getting to work. Once she was done, she handed both girls their cones. As the girl Y/N now knew as Robin, retracted her hand, her headphones fell to the floor in front of Y/N's feet.
"Shit." Robin cursed.
Y/N handed her cone over to Erica and picked up Robins headphones from the floor. She recognised the familiar tune and held the speakers to her left ear momentarily, so she could hear what was playing. The smiths.
"The smiths, I love the smiths." Y/N smiled, handing the headphones over to Robin.
Robin returned Y/N's smile, reaching into her pocket and pulling out a tape.
"Here, it's a mixtape I made, I think you'd like some of the bands on there." Robin handed Y/N the tape, her number written across the tape in marker.
