Max was showing you and Mike a trick, you watched attentively as as a smile made it's way to her face. She skated in circles, offering a hand to you. You were about to join her on the board when a jolt sent her toppling towards the ground, you grabbed her shoulders holding her upright.
"Shit." She mumbled.
Your faces were inches away from each other. That's when you noticed Mike who's chest had been pressed against your back, had turned to face the double doors. You immediately knew that it was about Eleven. You held onto his hand, giving him a small smile. Max had noticed the little exchange and almost immediately her heart dropped down to her stomach. She wasn't going to let you leave whatever the two of you had for Mike of all people.
