Chapter 15

*Ryans POV*

I walked into my bedroom and I saw Skylar passed out on my desk. I'm guessing she worked herself too hard. I picked her up and layed her down on the bed. I kissed her forehead and I went into the bathroom and cried. Skylar shouldn't have to go through all of that. She's stronger than she seems. I feel so bad for her. I don't understand why people pick on her, she never gave me a reason as to why people pick on her. I don't know the whole story but I will find out.

I picked myself up from the bathroom floor and went into the bedroom and did my homeowrk. It was quite easy. I was finished in 10 minutes or less. I got dressed and went to bed. I snuggled up really close to Skylar and pulled her into my chest. She's really warm. I fell asleep with the love of my life in my arms.

*morning*

I woke up and I noticed that Skylar was still asleep. I woke her up and she wasn't too happy with me. She wanted to stay home but I told her that she couldn't, she needed to go to school and face them and show them how strong she was. I told her that once we come back home from school I would make her therapy appointment. She didn't seem to happy with me but I need to protect her. If she won't talk to me about it then she needs to talk to a professional, she needs to learn how to deal with her problems.

I got dressed really quickly and ran downstairs to get some toast. I made one for Skylar and I. She didn't want to take the toast but I made her eat it and I watched her to make sure she ate all of it. She ate her breakfast and went to go get dressed, she was ready to go to school within 10 minutes. We didn't have to leave for another 20 minutes so we watched tv and cuddled.

"I love you Skylar. You mean everything to me. I know you might me mad at me but I'm doing this for your own good." I said, breaking the silence.

"I love you to Ry-Ry. I'm not mad anymore. I asked you to protect me from myself and that's exactly what you're doing. Thank you."

"You're welcome. I'm hear if you ever want to talk about anything. I promise I'll be here for you."

"Thank you."

I kissed the top of her head and cuddled her some more. I felt my eyes get heavier. I started to fall asleep.

"Ryan.... Ryan..... You can't sleep" I heard Skylar say.

"I'm not." I said back.

"Come on let's go to school. I'll drive."

"Ok."

I sat in the passenger seat and turned the music on so that it can help keep me awake.

"Do you want me to get you a frapé from McDonald's? To keep you energized."

"Sure. I'll pay."

"Ok."

I drank my frapé and I soon became energized. We arrived at school minutes later and we went to class. I hate not having some classes with her. I only have lunch and 7th period with her. This sucks.

I went to my 1st period class and it was really boring as usual. By time lunch came around I was really excited. I wanted to see Skylar.

I entered the cafeteria and sat at our table. All of our friends were there and I immediately saw Skylar. She looked beautiful.

"Hey babe. How's it going?"

"I'll tell you when we get home." She said.

Ok, well, now I'm worried.

"Is everything alright?"

"Yeah but I'll just tell you when we get home."

"Ok."

I kissed her forehead to let her know that she's safe and protected.

"Ok I know you guys are dating now but can you keep it on the DL while we are at school?" Maia said.

"Well you know me. When I see a pretty lady I just can't keep my hands off her." I said.

I looked over at Skylar and her cheeks where turning red. Aweee she's blushing. She looks so cute when she blushes. I looked over at Maia and she just rolled her eyes.

"Whatever smart ass." Maia said to me.

"Hey atleast we aren't making out in front of you guys, well, unless you want me to?"

"NO!" Maia and Skylar said at the same time. I gave Skylar a confusing look. I knew Maia's reasoning but Skylar? I don't know her's.

"What?" Skylar said.

"You don't want to make out with me in front of our friends?"

"No I don't. It's something we do in private and our friends don't need to see that."

"Ok." I said now knowing her reasoning.

"Sorry." She said.

"It's ok. I just didn't know your reasoning and I wanted to know."

"Ok."

Once lunch was over, 6th and 7th period went by super fast. I drove home this time and Skylar just stared out the window. I could tell she was nervous.

"I was a lesbian 5 years ago. That's what they are picking on me for." She finally said.

"What?" I said slamming on the brakes, whiched caused the car behind me to swerve around me and flip me off.

"Asshole." He called out as he passed me.

I started driving again. "What? Why haven't you told me?"

"I was afraid you weren't going to accept me as a person I was."

"Skylar that was 5 years ago. Not to be rude but I don't care about your past. I care about your present and your future. I'm glad you finally told me though. I would accept you no matter what."

"Ok." Was all she said.

We arrived at our house and I made the phone call to her therapist. She has an appointment for tomorrow after school.

"Skylar we have therapy tomorrow after school."

"Ok. Are you going with me?"

"Yes, unless you don't want me to."

"I want you to. I'm nervous about it. You know everything now anyway so why not?"

"Ok."

I did my homework and Skylar did as well. As I was finishing mine I heard Skylar groan in frustration.

"What's wrong?" I asked.

"Math, it's just too hard." She said.

"Why don't you take a break while I order some pizza."

"Ok."

She laid down on the bed as I made the phone call to Papa Johns. We both love that place. I remember the first time we met. She was eating Papa Johns and so was I. I asked her how her pizza was and she just smiled. Wow I remember when times where less stressful back then, when everything was simple and easy.

After I ordered the pizza I went upstairs and laid down next to Skylar. She snuggled into my chest and I pulled her closer. She was so warm, yet she was complaining about how cold she was. I pulled the blanket over us and kissed her. I've been wanting to kiss her all day, I just want to be a gentleman and do it in private because she is right. What we do as a couple should be just between us.

She deepened the kiss and once our tounges touched she moaned. I pulled back needing some air and I didn't want to go any further than that. She laid her head back down enjoying the warmth. The doorbell rang many minutes later and I went to get the pizza. I paid the guy and took the pizza box upstairs. We ate all of the pizza and breadsticks and then she finished the rest of her homework after I helped her with math.

I took a shower and watched tv as I waited for Skylar to come out of the shower. Once she did she made me get out so she could get dressed. I went back into the room once she was done and went to sleep. I was really tired so I went to bed early and so did Skylar.
