Chapter 37

Ryan's POV:

*2 weeks later*

Today is the day I get to present my validictorian speech. I can't wait I'm so excited. I got dressed in my tuxedo because today is a very special day. After I was done I started searching my grandmas old room for her ring she gave me a week before she died. After about five minutes I finally found it. I put it in my pocket and I woke Skylar up to get her ready for school.

"Skylar wake up." I said, shaking her awake.

"I'm up." She said as she sat up.

"Great." I said as I made breakfast, I was already ready but I wanted Skylar to sleep in today.

After about five minutes she came downstairs she ate the toast and eggs I prepared for her. She went back upstairs and put her make up on. Wow, she looks different with make up on.

I wrapped her up and kissed her, today is going to be a very special day.

"Ryan I have to show you something." Skylar said.

"Ok babe what is it?" I asked. She pulled up her shirt and stood to the side, her belly looked bigger. They baby is growing, oh my god there is actually a baby in there.

"Oh my god you are getting your baby bump." I said.

"Yeah. This is really exciting." She said.
I got down on my knees and kissed her belly. Wow, that child is mine, I made that. I said to myself.

After awhile we drove to school. Skylar drove this time because she never gets to. We got to school in one piece and we got out of the car. I made my way to the principles office while I told Skylar to go talk to Maia. I told Mr.Greene what I had planned, he thinks it's a great idea and that it should be expressed. Oh my god I can't wait.

After awhile Mr.Greene called everyone down to the auditorium. I was nervous, I memorized my speech but I was nervous because of what I'm going to do. My heart was racing it felt like it could beat out of my chest.

After we got our deplomas Mr.Greene acknowledged me to the stage to give my speech.

"Hello class of 2014." I started. "I just want to take the time to thank all of the teachers in this school for helping me achieve my goal in life. Everything you've taught me has made me a wiser person. I already know what I'm going to do in life. I would also like to think one special person who is also graduating with me. Skylar Cross do you mind coming up here." Skylar looked around the room so confused. After a minute she walked her fine ass up up here and on the stage, she was standing right in front of me. Oh my god I can't believe I'm doing this.

"Thank you for staying with me and thank you for being such and awesome friend and girlfriend. Before you go I have something to ask." I said into the microphone. She looked at me and she looked so nervous.

I got down on one knee. "Skylar Cross, will you do the honor of marrying me?"
