Chapter 39

*12 weeks later*

Skylar's POV:

Today is the day I find the sex of the baby, I'm super excited and I can tell Ryan is too. He really wants the baby to be a girl so he can call her a daddy's girl, I hope it's a girl because girls are pretty and awesome and, well, why not.

As we arrived at the doctors office we went inside and signed in. After about 5 minutes of waiting we were called in by Dr. Waters.

"Nice to see you again Skylar, how are you?" He asked.

"Feeling great, how are you?" I asked.

"Great." He said as he led me into a room. There was a hospital bed type thing in there and a monitor so we can see the baby. He put the jell on my stomach and it was really cold, he took this remote type thing and moved it around my stomach causing the jell to move around with it.

Ryan held my hand and we both looked up on the screen.

"Ok guys, you see that little blob right there?" He said as he pointed to the 'blob.'

"Yes." Ryan and I said at the same time.
"That's your baby and its a girl." Dr.Waters said.

I cried and Ryan cried. We cried from excitement. We were so excited that we were having a girl, we wanted a girl and we have it.

After our doctors appointment we went home an watched movies in the home theater. We cuddled all day since we don't have anymore school. I'm so excited, we get to just stay home and cuddle, it's like being on summer break except we both have to work and I will be getting off of work for awhile since I will be going into labor in 8 months.

"Skylar come here." Ryan said.

"Yeah what's up?" I asked.

"We need to discuss when we are getting married." He said.

"Ok, what day do you want?" I asked.

"I don't care." He said.

"Well, I don't want to have a baby bump." I told him.

"Ok, so are we doing it soon or later?" He asked.

"We'll do it soon." I said. I honestly don't want a baby bump, well, a big baby bump anyway.

"Ok." He said as he kissed my forehead and put his hands on my belly.

"Well set a date for about 3 weeks to a month." I said. He looked at me and his eyes were huge.

"Ok." He said.

"Yeah that means that I'll have to go out shopping for a wedding dress and I'll take Maia with me and it'll be a girls day."

"Ok. I'll take Luke with me and we'll go shopping for another tuxedo and he'll be my best man."

"Yeah and Maia will be my maid of honor."

"Yeah and well do it like eloped couples do it because we have no family to invite." He said.

"Yeah!" I said a little too excited.

"I can't wait to be married to you. We are going to have so much fun." He said.

"Right. We'll be together forever." I told him.

After awhile of talking about the wedding and writing down our ideas we watched tv. We watched the tv show 'faking it'. I honestly love this show, I don't know about Ryan but this is my favorite show. I totally ship Amy and Karma they are so cute together, I don't like Karma and Liam together it seems like there is more drama with them and Karma and Amy know everything about each other and they're just super cute together. Ugh I really hope they end up together.

I continued to watch the tv show and it ended, oh my god that was awesome. I can't wait until next week. I looked up at Ryan and he fell asleep. Awe he's so cute, I thought. I kissed him and he was still asleep. I went downstairs and made dinner for him. I made chicken and chili. Chicken and chili is just really good. In the middle of cooking Ryan came downstairs.

"I smelt your wonderful cooking and had to come down to see what your making." Ryan said.

"Chicken and chili." I said as I kissed him on his lips again.

"Mmm that's really good baby." He said.

"I know right." I said as I continued to cook. As I was finishing cooking Ryan set the table. He put napkins and spoons on the table. Awe what a gentleman, I thought. Supper was done and he grabbed two bowls and filled up the first one with chili and handed it to me. I took it and sat it down on the table. He filled another bowl and put it in his spot. I went to the cabinet and grabbed the crackers. The chicken was cooling down so we didn't get any yet.

We ate in silence, I don't know why we do that but we just do. After we ate our chili Ryan got chicken for the both of us, he's honestly so sweet, like no guy has ever treated me this good, Ryan treats me like I'm his princess, like I should be treated like royalty or something, sometimes it gets Innoying but other times it is pretty nice.

We ate our chicken in silence and once we were finished we did the dishes together, again. After we finished the dishes we waited about 5 minutes before we both got into the shower. Yes we take showers together, we are engaged, why would we not?

After our shower we went to sleep. I am so tired. This baby is wearing me down, I thought before I actually fell asleep.

Ryan got undressed and was just in his boxers, damn I love when he does that. I got dressed in booty shorts and a tang top.

We laid down and Ryan tightened his grip on me. "I love it when you dress sexy for me." He said as he kissed my head. "And I love how you are so sexy. It's like your a god, that's how sexy you are." I said and he lifted my head up and kissed my lips. After our heated make out session I laid my head down on his chest and he pressed close to me. I then fell asleep wrapped in the arms of my fiancé.
