"B you have to come right now there-there's been a horrible accident." Veronica stammered talking on the phone with Betty. "V what happened..what accident." Betty said rushing to get dressed. It was a harsh winter weather so she needed a layer up. "Archie.." Veronica could barely finish her sentence. "V I'm on my way." Betty said buttoning up her coat. "Mom I need your car." Betty shouted from upstairs. "Betty you know I don't trust you with my car it cost me a-." Betty cut her off. "Mom Archie just got into an accident and I need to get there as fast as possible!" Betty shouted throwing her feet in her boots. "Oh my-." Alice clutched her chest. "Very well I'll drive you!" Alice said buttoning her coat. Betty and Alice ran to the car and sped to the hospital. "Jug Archie had an accident meet me in the hospital asap!" Betty said to Jughead on the phone as he picked up on the first ring. "What the hell, when?!" He said. "I don't know I just need to get there!" Betty said panting even though she wasn't driving. "Betty we're here!" Alice slammed the door and ran to the hospital. "Hey where is Archie Andrews?!" Betty ran towards the desk desperately. "Calm down miss..let me just find.." Betty aggressively cut her off. "Now!" She screamed. "Betty calm the hell down." Alice said grabbing her arm. "Room 307." The nurse said furrowing her eyebrows. "Thank you so much." Betty said but she ran to the room. It felt ages but she made it. "I'm here!" She said panting Alice not far behind. "Thank god I didn't know who to call." Veronica stammered shaking. "What the hell happened?" Betty said sitting down putting her head in her hands. "Well- He..I-We crashed!" Veronica said waving her arms gesturing the accident. "Were you driving?! W-What happened to your driver?" Betty said lifting her head. "We took it out on a joyride it was my idea and we were tipsy-and I drove it and crashed into someone else's car and I used the airbag b-but for Archie it was too late he hit it hard and became unconscious." Veronica sobbed. "V how can you be so reckless?!" Betty screamed. "Listen I'm sorry I just wanted a normal life without a driver and a normal life with my boyfriend." Veronica continued sobbing. "Look I'm sorry for shouting but that was stupid to drink drive." Betty said sitting next to Veronica. "I know, I know I'm sorry!" Veronica said wiping her tears. "What happened?!" Jughead said running in. "Oh Jug! Archie got into a car accident!" Betty said her voice growing thick. "Is he ok?!" Jughead said running towards Betty pulling her into a tight hug. "He's Fine, he's stable at the moment." Veronica said bitterly looking at Jughead and Betty. "Veronica do you want to get a coffee?" Jughead said gently. "No I'm not leaving my archiekins." Veronica said sitting tightly. "Yeah I don't want to leave him either." Betty sat ruffling Jughead's hair. "Ok I'm going to go to Pop's to get us three coffees I read that sugar is good for the shock, my dad and your mom Betty are in the lounge trying to get a hold of Fred." Jughead said planting a kiss on Betty's forehead. As soon as Jughead left the room it stayed silent. Betty could hear Veronica muttering her prayers and asking the Lord to forgive her sins. "I need the bathroom." Veronica finally said clearing her throat. "Ok I'll stay here." Betty said. She left the bathroom. Betty looked over Archie in agony because she hated seeing him in pain and softly took a hold of his bandaged hand. She's never seen him like this. "Ronnie?" Betty heard a groan. Betty jumped. "Archie?!" Betty gasped taken aback. "Betty.." He said groaning. "Where the hell am I?" Archie moaned in pain. "You're in the hospital I-." She was cut off by Veronica. "Archiekins?! Oh my goodness you're awake?" Veronica gasped in shock. Archie nodded unable to speak. "You're ok baby!" Veronica said stroking his forehead. Betty winced because she was touching his cuts. "Well I'll give you two some alone time." Betty said gingerly. "Stay." Archie croaked looking up at her. "Yeah..stay." Veronica pleaded. Betty sat down on the chair and Jughead came in. "He's awake!" Jughead said almost dropping the coffee but Betty caught it just in the nick of time. "Are you ok Archie?" Jughead said running to the bedside. "Yes." Archie said. His face was swollen, red and cut. Betty couldn't bare to look at it anymore. "Archie I'm sorry but I really have to go my mom is at home I have to shower but I'll be here tomorrow." Betty said trying to find an excuse for the pain she's in. "Really B you would rather shower then stay here with him?" Veronica said getting up whilst still keeping her fingers entwined with his. "I have no words for you right now." Betty said leaving the room. "Betty-." Archie grunted trying to get up. "Don't take notice of her Archiekins she's just tired." Veronica said gently pushing him back down. "I'll go after her." Jughead said getting up. "Betty what the hell was that back there." Jughead gestured. "I'm just tired as Veronica said." Betty said not telling him about the accident. "Do you know what happened?" Jughead said quizzically. "No Veronica doesn't even know herself." She lied. "Ok well your mom told me to tell you she's heading off because Polly and her have an appointment with a therapist." Jughead said rubbing her back in a circular motion. She gave him a little smile. "Ok Jug I'll be here tomorrow morning let me know if there's anymore news." She said kissing him on the cheek and she headed off home.
Hey guys I know I said I wasn't going to make another story but I find this really fun to do. I read over my first story and I decided I'm not going to rush into this relationship so you will find this story is very long because I want to give other relationships a go as well (although I don't ship them on the show🤣) but thank you so much for reading my first chapter. I'm going to use point of views every now and then but I'll try and make it into a story. I want to improve my second story and just know if there are any spelling mistakes it's unintentional so yeah thanks for reading my loves❤️
