Jughead POV
"Oh you're finally awake." I whispered to Veronica. "Morning to you too, why are you up so early." She moaned pulling the duvet over her head. "It's Wednesday morning V." I gestured at the time. "Oh my first two periods were dropped so don't try scare me." Veronica rubbed her eyes. "Here." I tossed my shirt to her. "Aren't your first two periods dropped as well because of the teachers conference?" She asked putting on my shirt. "No I have to meet the baby's new parents." I yawned putting on my beanie. "Isn't Archie going?" She asked. "He is but I'm the father so I kind of have to go.." I answered. "Ok I'll walk you to the door." She said getting up. We both walked to her marble lobby. "See you later?" I said leaning on the doorframe. "Bye." I pulled her in for a goodbye kiss. "Morning breath." She pulled away. We both had a little laugh and I walked away.

Betty POV
"Morning." Archie groaned walking into the kitchen. "Morning, I made you breakfast." I said gesturing at the table. "I'll be down in five." He rushed back up the stairs. I wondered what was wrong with him. My mind was still fixated on last night. My head was spinning everywhere. On the baby, on the couple adopting the baby but mainly it was on Archie. He walked back in looking much fresher with his fitted blue top and jeans. I stared at his broad shoulders and his arms. I've never seen him like that up close. I shook my head trying to deny these feelings. Just because I broke up with Jughead doesn't mean I get back on him using Archie. That's all I was feeling. "You nervous?" He asked. "Um no I've met them online and they seem happy and a good couple." I answered honestly. He nodded. It was the most awkward breakfast I've ever had with anyone. "Uh so is Jughead coming?" He asked popping a blueberry in his mouth. I nodded not trusting my voice. "Ok well I'm going to go shower and smarten myself up and I'll see you downstairs." I said and ran up the stairs. I need to stop doing this!

Jughead POV
"Where are you off too?" Sweet pea asked when he saw me wear a shirt and some trousers. Not my usual style. "Oh I'm arranging an adoption for Betty's baby." I sighed. "It's your baby too." He added. "You got a point." I thought about it. It is my baby. A human that I'm meant to be responsible for. "I say if you want him or her to be adopted, you and Betty should act like a happy couple." He suggested. "You mean lie to them?"
"A white lie. Think about it if you tell them you two broke up because you cheated on Betty with her best friend and Betty and your best friend maybe are like in love so they will think your all dramatic and they aren't used to them drama and kaboom! They go back to wherever the hell they came from without the baby." Sweet pea explained. I was shocked that he even thought about this. "Ok number one that's kind of true number two how do you even know all this?!" I exclaimed. "Toni made me watch all these random reality tv shows and there was a similar one like this." He shrugged. I sighed. This plan better work.

Archie POV
Betty walked down the stairs in a royal blue skirt and a white blouse. She let out her hair and her big green eyes were outlined intricately and her lips were pearly pink. My eyes swivelled up and down. She slipped on her flat shoes. I couldn't look away. "Ready?" She asked leaning on the door frame. I opened the door for her first to let her out. Betty smiled. We both got into her car. The seat felt weirdly familiar. It was the exact position our first kiss was, but I couldn't think about that! It's Betty's big day. "Aren't we going to collect Jughead?" I asked. "Huh n-no! I mean he's going on his bike." She stammered. I knew she was nervous. She always bit her lip when she's nervous ever since the first grade. "Hey." I softly said as she parked near the cafe the couple asked us to meet. I put my hand on her knee. "You are going to be fine, the baby is going to be fine, everything is going to be fine." I reassured her as she gasped for air. "You think so?" She looked up at me trying to breath. "I know so." I nodded firmly. Jughead beckoned. I hoped I gave her more courage. "Hey." Jughead greeted us and pecked Betty on the cheek. "Um have you forgotten we broke up." Betty backed away. "If we tell them that and what happened aren't they going to think we are too dramatic and not adopt the baby?" He hissed. "So we have to fake being a couple again?" She hissed back. "Jug that's crazy." I scoffed. "It might work." Betty looked at me. "I mean if that's what you want." I squeezed her hand. Jughead widened his eyes. "I knew it!" He exclaimed. "Still friends Jug." Betty sighed rubbing her forehead. We walked into the cafe and saw a young couple in a booth.

Betty POV
I was so nervous. My stomach flipped around as if the baby was rolling around my stomach. I felt as if I was going to throw up. "Betty?" The woman asked. I nodded. "Have a seat!" The man offered the booth to the three of us. "Nice to finally meet you, in case you forgot I'm Aria this is Ezra." Aria gestured. Such unusual names. I expected them to be an old couple. They looked like they just graduated college! My mouth was dry and the only think I could let out was a nod. "Betty's just nervous I'm Archie." Archie introduced. "You're the boyfriend." Aria beamed. Me and Archie paused. "No it's actually.." All eyes swivelled to Jughead. "Forsythe Pendleton Jones the third." He smiled. "Hello Fors-." Ezra began. "Call me Jughead." He shook hands with the two. "Hello Jughead." Aria uncomfortably shifted in her seat. "So how did you two meet." I cleared my throat. "Um...a bar!" Ezra recounted. Aria shot him a look. There was something weird about them. "A bar?" Archie asked. "There is something else.." Aria added. "Ezra was..my English teacher." Aria sighed. "Oh is that it." Jughead mocked. I shot a dirty look at Jughead. It didn't look as if he was taking it seriously. "Yeah I understand." Archie answered. "You do?" Aria and Ezra asked in unison. "Archie had a similar experience." Jughead sniggered. "My music teacher ms Grundy." He rubbed his neck shamefully. "Well are you two together." Aria asked hopefully. We all tensed. "Excuse me a second." I said pulling Archie's arm. "Shall we tell them..about the town?!" I whispered. "Well what have we got to lose?" Archie shrugged. "Proper parents for the baby?!" I panicked. "Hey, hey." He grabbed my arms again. His hands were warm compared to my stone cold hands. "If they don't want it anymore, I know you will do an amazing job as a mother." Archie whispered putting his head against mine. We were far away from the booth at the back of the cafe where nobody could see us. I smoothed out my skirt. "I think I will tell them everything." I turned to Archie. He shrugged. "If you're happy I'm happy." He smiled which radiated my entire body. As we sat down Jughead informed us. "Hey guys Ezra was just telling us about B22." Jughead plastered a smile on his face. "B what?" Archie asked. "It's a song that me and Ezra bonded over." Aria interrupted. "Hey remember you asked about the music teacher." I changed the subject. They looked up at me. "Are you telling them." Archie whispered. I nodded and so I did. From
Jason Blossom to the black hood, to G&G. "Wow.." Aria said breaking the silence. "Wow you really didn't hold back B." Jughead put his hand on my shoulder. I stole a glance at Archie but forged a smile making it believable that me and Jughead were together. "Well do we have time to share about Rosewood?" Ezra asked. We all nodded. That took some time. They were exactly like riverdale except the A bit and the cyberstalking. "Wow and I thought riverdale was crazy." Jughead said biting a toothpick. "Well this was lovely and slightly scary we have a long journey but we should meet again." Aria said taking my number. I nodded shaking their hands again. "I better go as well Veronica is waiting." Jughead whispered. "The raven haired girl?" Ezra asked. "The rich one who's father is a manipulative business man?" Aria continued. We all nodded in unison. "Um well the truth is me and Jughead aren't really together." I announced. "We didn't want you to think we are dramatic if we tell you everything and we didn't want you to change your mind about being in touch with us and the baby." I continued rubbing my stomach. "I see.." Aria said. "Don't worry we were way more dramatic in high school." She continued her and Ezra smiling at each other. My heart fluttered. I longed for a relationship like that. "Oh well that's a relief." Archie mumbled. Only I heard it and it made my heart lift again knowing he cared. "Well thanks for the four rounds of coffee but I'm off and I'll walk you to your car!" Jughead beamed walking off with them. Maybe everything was going to be ok..
