Hey guys just a quick note I think I prefer to do point of view from now on instead of talking in the third person. Also this chapter will be very long so yeah🤣
Betty POV
My head was throbbing and my stomach churned but I felt much better. I looked at Archie from across the classroom. He was asking for help from our classmate. I pondered about Jughead the whole lesson. Where could he have been. I checked my phone but nothing from him or Veronica. Maybe Veronica was working at Pop's and Jughead had an emergency meeting. That made sense. I thought me and Archie could go see Veronica at Pop's. I anxiously picked up my pen but part of me couldn't focus. Thank god the bell rang when it did. I was in such a daydream about Jughead I didn't even notice Archie calling my name. "Earth to Elizabeth?" Archie snapped his fingers right in front of my face. "Sorry." I blushed embarrassed I was in one of my daydreams. "How do you feel?" He softly whispered and leaned in. I got shivers up my spine when he did that..probably because I hate people talking so close to me. "Fine." I answered smiling. "I cancelled practise to look after you." He added on. "My heart is melting." I sarcastically replied. We both laughed. "Any reply from Veronica?" I asked. Archie shook his head obviously knowing Jughead wouldn't answer it was then we saw the two of them rushing in. "Hey guys!" Veronica exclaimed. "Where the hell were you two?" Archie snapped. "Um I was at a business meeting and I don't know about Jughead but we saw each other and walked to school." Veronica gabbled before Jughead could speak. "Right.." I said narrowing my eyes. I then noticed Veronica's zipper was only halfway done. "V your zipper." I commented. "Oh right Archie could you get that for me." She asked. "Down or up?" I murmured sourly. Jughead had sharp ears. "Betty!" He hissed under his breath. "So how did it become undone?" I asked out of curiosity. "I had to change because my business meeting required formal dress and I packed a school outfit and changed in the pop's bathroom and I saw Jughead so we walked to school." Veronica quickly replied but I had a very strange feeling about this.
Veronica's POV
"Ronnie are you ok?" Archie asked me clutching my arm. I felt a little dizzy. I thought about my amazing time with Jughead but I felt terrible. Are we a fling? So many questions bounced in my brain. "Yeah." I answered finally. "Do you want to skip class?" Archie asked me grinning. I shook my head. "We missed too much let's meet after school." I sighed not even bothering to give me a kiss. "Woah Ronnie is everything ok?" Archie badgered me. I just wanted to be left alone. "Yeah!" I answered and I walked off.
Archie POV
Well that was weird. Something's up with Veronica. I ignored the feeling and went to my locker to grab my books. I saw Betty in the blue and gold and walked in. "Hey." She said closing her laptop. "Hi." I greeted her. She patted the seat next to her. "Everything ok." She asked packing up. "Has Jug been acting weird with you recently?" I asked watching her neatly arranging the books. "Um how so?" She asked me putting the books back on the shelf. "Like secretive?"
"I thought that was just me Arch." Betty looked at me. I stared back at her. "There's something going on." She nodded at me. "Yeah." I agreed. "Wanna find out what's going on?" I asked. "I wouldn't have it any other way." She smiled at me. Her dimples were so cute. Reminded me of when we were young.
Jughead POV
I walked to my locker and felt a force pulling me inside the janitor's closet and locking the door. "What the-?" I looked at the figure and they turned on the lightbulb that hung in between us. "Veronica you scared the crap out of me!" I exclaimed. "Shh!" She nodded at the door. "So why am I here." I whispered. "What are we Juggy?" She threw this question very unexpectedly at me I blinked twice. "What do you want to be?" I asked her. "I don't just want to be a fling." She protested. "Well I can't have two girlfriends." I pointed out. "Can we keep this low key and see where it takes us?" She pleaded. "If that's what you want V." I kissed her and we made an awful lot of noise in there but thank god the hallway was cramped. "I gotta go to lesson." Veronica panted between kisses. "So soon?" I wrapped my arms around her neck. "Oh Jones you're turning me into a naughty girl." Veronica traced my face with her fingers. "I gotta go Juggy." She groaned once she heard the bell ring. We checked through the peephole if Betty or Archie were there and left when the coast was clear. "See ya." She wiggled her fingers at me. I shook my head at her but smiled to myself. I quickly wiped off her purple lipstick on my neck and on my cheek and went to meet Betty.
Betty POV
"Where the hell could they be?" I asked Archie. "I don't know B."
"Great response." I sarcastically raised my eyebrow. Archie and I headed to the lounge and sat on the couch. I saw the football team approaching so I occupied myself by reading a book. Reggie threw a cushion at me. "Do you mind?" I asked him throwing it back. "Just having some fun." He shrugged looking at me. "Just having some fun." I imitated. "Where's Jonesy aren't you two meant to be fighting crime somewhere?" He asked me sitting next to me on the couch and putting his arm around me. "Reggie knock it off!" Archie pushed him off me and sat in his place. "Aww." Reggie cooed sarcastically. "Andrews I was sitting there." He continued. "Well now I'm sitting here." Archie smiled at Reggie. I was put off my book and sat up straight. "There you are!" Veronica rushed in to kiss Archie. I uncomfortably got up but whilst kissing her Archie held onto my hand. "Archie?" Veronica pulled away. "What?" Archie asked pulling me back on the couch. "Why are you holding her hand?" Veronica stammered. "Because I'm keeping an eye on her orders from Polly." He winked at me making me playing along. "Ugh Archie I can look after myself!" I played along. "Hmm." Veronica said sitting in between us. Jughead joined us. "About time." I bounced up and kissed him. He puckered his lips back but didn't kiss back. "Hey V-Betty." Jughead said. We all paused. "What?" I stuttered. "Nothing." Jughead replied. "Who were you about to say." I snapped. "Veronica said hey so I thought I should say-." He was cut off. "Stop with the lying are you and Veronica..?" I shouted. "Rookie mistake Juggy." Veronica rubbed her temples. "What no of course not!" Jughead answered. "Then why did she call you Juggy?!" I raised my voice even louder. "She's mocking you Betty!" Jughead shouted back. "Ronnie you have white powder on your hair." Archie commented. "White powder.." I drifted off remembering what happened. I grabbed Archie's hand. "I'm not finished!" I yelled. "B what's wrong?" Archie asked me as we headed down the hallway. "Everything." I said opening the janitor's closet. "White powder!" I exclaimed gesturing at the white powder spilt all over the floor. I saw something sparkle out from the corner of my eye. "Look!" I said taking out a silver bracelet with Veronica's initials. "VL." Archie read out. "Veronica Lodge." I answered. "It's not what it looks like." Veronica ran inside. "You and Jughead Ronnie?" Archie yelled. "Man we..ok we hooked up but it was only for a week!" Jughead protested. "We thought you two were sleeping with each other so we spied on you two for a while on your night shift and it just..happened!" Veronica gabbled. I stormed off not wanting to hear any of it. "Betty!" Jughead ran after me. I ran off not knowing where to go.
