Veronica POV
As Betty walked in, she looked fantastic. Her face dropped once she saw it was a baby shower. She plastered a smile on her face and summoned Jughead, Archie and me. "Which idiot planned this." She hissed. Her eyes swivelled towards me as she knew my history with baby showers. "What were you thinking I mean it's a nice thought but you need to respect my choices and try not to rush me into deciding what I want." Betty sighed. "No that's not what we were doing we planned this to show that we support you and love you no matter what." Jughead jumped in our argument. "If you loved me we would be the core four again." Betty sourly added. "You know what if my friends did this I would melt why are you being an ungrateful bitch!" I argued. "Hey hey hey don't attack Betty like that." Archie stepped in. "Listen I'm sorry ok I just didn't expect it." She collected herself. "I'll try and have fun..thanks for the baby shower." She smiled and walked off. "That wasn't how it was meant to go." Jughead added. "You think." Archie scoffed and walked off leaving just me and Jughead. How it always was. "Hey..ignore what Betty said you're an amazing friend." Jughead took my hand and we walked hand in hand to the living room.
Betty POV
"Would you like a drink?" A caterer offered me. "Um." I looked at my stomach. "Alcohol free of course!" She added. I took a glass and gulped it down. "Someone was thirsty." I turned around. It was a guy from the football team. "You look hot for a baby mama." He smiled at me biting his lower lip. "Um yeah.." I budged uncomfortably. He was tall and had tanned skin with ocean blue eyes and thick brown hair. He was every girl's dreamboat. His body was well built, muscular. He had an amazing smile. "You like what you see?" He asked me. He saw me blushing. "Hmm you like what you see?" I argued noticing him examining every feature of myself. "I do, yeah." He gave me his handsome smile again. I didn't like his personality. He seemed like those type of guys who hops from girl to girl. He tucked a strand of my hair behind my ear and let his hand run down me. I slapped his hand away. "I have a boyfriend!" I hissed looking around. "Jonesy boy?" It was creepy how he knew. I couldn't really say yes because he was staring at Jughead and Veronica linking arms on her couch so I had to go with the next boy I knew. "No um.." I looked around. "Archie Andrews." I smiled at the sound of his name. "That's a bunch of bull, me and Andrews are on the field together and he never mentioned jack about you!" He declared. I saw Archie walk past me and I grabbed his arm. "Betty is he bothering you?" He asked me noticing the way he was staring at me. I stayed quiet. "Show me proof baby mama." He commanded stepping closer to me. His cologne hit me like a truck. It wasn't like Archie's soft cologne it was strong and pungent. "Um ok." I sighed. "Just trust me." Archie POV
And then she pressed her lips against mine flinging her arms around my neck. I rested my hands on her waist running them up and down her soft silky dress. I could feel her hands stroking the back of my head. "Ok I get the point." Ryan sighed in disappointment. Betty pulled away and I let go of her waist. "Good." She smiled. "You're still hot." Ryan added looking at me anxiously. "And you're still here?" I asked him playing the jealous boyfriend role. He cleared off after that. "So do you wanna explain that?" I asked Betty after he was out of earshot. "He was hitting on me and I needed a fake boyfriend." She simplified it. "Makes sense." I said. "That kiss meant nothing and we don't ever speak of it EVER again." Betty pointed her finger at me. "Got it, wow it's cute how you think that I even cared." I lied. I did care. I've never had a kiss with her like that. The black hood kiss was..passionate but it wasn't as steamy as this one. "Shut up." She laughed. We both went out separate ways in fear of getting caught by Alice.
Jughead POV
Me and Veronica sat on her couch looking around. "You did a good job V." I complimented her. She smiled and shrugged. "Thanks for the help Juggykins." We both cracked up at this new nickname. "Juggykins?" I asked her struggling not to explode all over again. "Yeah that sounds ridiculous even by my standards." She wiped her eyes as she was crying with laughter. "Where is the baby mama?" I asked her. "She's talking to that football player." Veronica pointed out. We stared out him touching her face and tucking her hair behind her ear and then the unexpected happened. My jaw dropped when I saw her and Archie kiss. "Such trashy liars!" Veronica hissed. "They said nothing is going on between them." I agreed. "Oh my god why is it lasting for like ever?" Veronica commented. Once the football player left they pulled away and smiled but what was weird is they both went in different directions. "We need to get to the bottom of this." I said getting up from the couch. "I'll follow Betty you follow Archie and we will take them into my room for questioning." Veronica commanded. I nodded. I followed Archie into the kitchen. When he opened the refrigerator I stood in front of it. He closed it. "Jug what the hell?!" He gasped. "Come with me." I ordered. "What,why?" He asked. "I'll ask the questions. I led him into the room. "Betty, Veronica what the hell?" Archie asked as I pushed him onto the bed. "I'll be asking the questions." Veronica shushed him. "What questions what are you guys talking about?" Betty asked. "You don't know about this?" Archie asked her. "No do you?" Betty responded. Archie shook his head. "So Guys you guys are best friend correct?" I asked. "Correct." They answered in unison. "Apart from the black hood kiss did anything ever happen?" Veronica asked. "No." Betty answered. "Don't lie to me!" She exclaimed. "No why would we lie?" Archie snapped. "Um did you or did you not make out like 15 minutes ago." Veronica snapped back. "Oh my god first of all that was to get that football player to leave me alone so I told him Archie was my boyfriend and he asked for proof so I did what I had to do and second of all why do you two care?" Betty explained. "Yeah why do you two care?" Archie echoed. "So you two aren't like together?" I asked. They both shook their heads. "Wow ok." Veronica sighed disappointed. "Guys.." Betty interrupted. We all stopped. "I'm going to keep the baby." She announced. All eyes fell on me...
