What Does It Mean?

Falling.

'Cause I'm falling too fast,

kiss me quick and make it last.

My heart is fading,

yet you still are waiting.

You want me to say three little words,

no matter how much they hurt.

I am falling so swiftly into the dirt. 

"I love you!" I scream as I fall into the pit. 

Closing my eyes and wishing I had changed every bit. 

But suddenly a light cascades from the abyss,

Your arms wrap around me and you give me a small kiss.

"I will protect you." He says with utter bliss.

I wasn't falling from the depression or hate,

I was falling because of our fate.

I was thrown into something I have never felt before. 

Because your love has infected me to the core.

So I am falling for you.

And I can say that this is true.

My heart is light and so is my body,

As I float in the pool of hate that has grown quite shoddy.
