"You've been here the whole time!" George yelled at Ella, "we've been looking for you."

Ben elbowed him in the side and gave his friend a look that said shut up. Melony watched as Ben put his own key into the door and turned the lock shut, George stomped over to Ella and punched her in the shoulder. She retaliated by punching him in the side, even harder making him flinch. Ben patted his sisters' shoulder

"Alright you two, knock it off." The argument between them was over, after all, Ben wouldn't allow anymore fighting.

"Ok you three," Ben said "let's put our heads together and think. How are we going to fix this?"

"Fix what?" Melony exclaimed "the best thing we can do is stay out of the way and not cause any trouble." She wasn't wrong of course, it would be best for the teachers if everyone stayed out of trouble, but that wasn't going to happen with the two boys.

"We didn't ask for your opinion." George said to Melony.

"And nobody wants you here!" Ella yelled back. Melony was a little afraid that Ella was going to punch him in the face, she also wanted her to do it, but only a little bit.

"Ok," Melony said quickly "ok, why don't we look in the textbooks." George and Ben looked at her like she was stupid, while Ella smacked herself in the forehead.

"Why didn't I think of that." Ella said while going to the spare items closet. She took out two beaten up and worn out copies of the magical creatures' textbooks. The boys looked through the year 2 book, searching for information about brownies, while the girls looked through the year 1 book. All four kids investigated their books, flipping pages and writing down page numbers, after a few minutes that felt like forever, they found something.

"Ok," Ella said "let's see. Brownies are similar to fairies, they like shiny things, and candy. Did you two find something more relevant?"

"Well," said Ben "it does talk about a repellent, any sort of pest repellent at medium strength should work. How about we make the repellent and you two get the shiny stuff?"

Both girls nodded in agreement. Ben readied himself at the door, wand in hand and cracked the door open slightly, just enough for his wand to stick out.

"Dizzio," He exclaimed, and it seemed to work, no pixie tried to barge in. Ben opening the door and the four kids saw the brownies floating around dizzy and disoriented, the look on their face is confused and lost.

"Oh, and before I forget." George ran back to his dad's desk and grabbed the key ring. He found the wright key and stuck it into the wall, opening it. He grabbed the 7-league boots and gave one boot to Ben. When they opened the door, all the students hid in a classroom. The brownies were still floating in the air, harmless for the moment. They didn't even notice the four kids opening the door. The boys took one step and appeared on the stairs, grinning like a pair of idiots.

"Show offs." Ella complained. The girls decided that the best place to find shiny things is in the kitchen. They barged into the kitchen the old-fashioned way for the first time, the front door.

"Hey Biscuit." Melony said. Biscuit laid on the floor with watery eyes, a few small cuts here and there, and sucking on his fingers. The kitchen is a glittery mess with plates, glasses, and wooden spoons broken and scattered around on the floor.

"What happened?" Melanie asked. Biscuit held out his finger, showing that his whole hand is covered in tiny bites that ripped out some of the skin, and needle sized poke marks. After they had a good look, he continued to suck on his thumb.

"It's ok," Ella said while patting him on the back "we're going to get rid of them, ok. Can we borrow the good silver? I know they'll go for it."

The ogre nodded his head and slowly stood up, still clearly upset. He unlocked a cabinet with the nice silverware while the girls grabbed a couple of clean rags to carry the utensils in. The knives, forks, and spoons glittered when the light hit them, and they had nice details on the handle, and even tiny little gray, blue, green, and red stones at the top.

They ran back to the lower floor where the brownies are. By this time, some of the scrawnier creatures had managed to wiggle their way under a door and is causing chaos to the students. The other brownies used their needle swords to stab the bottom of the wooden doors, trying to break it down more, so that they could all crawl under. The two girls have a plan, they would lead the silverware to the staircase so they could lock the little devils in, at least for a little while. Melony held the staircase door open and hid behind it while Ella crept downstairs to where the brownies were. Ella saw the little demons, hid herself behind a wall, and chucked the remaining spoons at them.

They took the bait and followed the trail of shinies', picking things up as they went. Even the tiny ones traumatizing the students heard the commotion and left. They talked amongst themselves with bell like voices in a language the students didn't understand, planning on using the forks and knives on the kids.

They followed their shinies well into the staircase and, WHAM, Melony slammed the door shut on the little devils and put the rags in the crack of the door so the little monsters couldn't get out. She ran back to her friend, who waited for her at the school's entrance, waiting for the teachers and parents. Many students had little bite mark chunks in their hands that looked like they were left by a large splinter. Everyone had decided that they would rather deal with the lizard creatures instead of the surprisingly vicious brownies.
