One last time (Sunny x Male! Brother! reader)

Hhhhhh so I had the random idea that your death was just a trick, and you escaped the Talons of Peace that night and many moons later you're reunited with Sunny, and she reacts to you having a mate! Enjoy!

No one's p.o.v

Success.

He had escaped.

But in a brutal way.

He faked his death to leave the cave.

As Y/n soared the sky towards the Sand Kingdom, he thought of her.

Of Sunny.

His little sister.

How he had broken her heart.

But, she wouldn't understand.

He hated being stuck in one place.

He was knocked out of his thoughts as a powerful force brought him tumbling out of the sky and onto the sandy desert, the sand flying up into the air. Y/n scrambled up, and prepared himself, his talons digging into the sand. A dragonet a few moons younger had brought y/n down. The dragonet was a Sandwing, a scar on his muzzle. He studied y/n for a second, then spoke.

"Come with me. Thorn will want to meet you." He said, leading Y/n towards a wall. And, inside of that wall, was a city. He and the dragonet walked through the streets. The city was empty, but a few dragons stared at them as they passed. Finally, they reached a castle like building. Or, maybe a tent? Ah, what did it matter? The dragonet led y/n inside, and a dragon layed on some pillows at the back, her head lifting at the sight of the two. The dragonet bowed before her, but y/n didn't. Something about this dragon seemed familiar, like they were family.

"Qibli, who is this?" The dragon asked, turning to Qibli.

"I don't know, your majesty. But, he looked like he could've been......" Qibli trailed off. Oh. This was Thorn. But, what was Qibli trying to say?

"Oh! My son! I had twins?! Where's your sister?! What's your name?!" Thorn exclaimed, her black eyes wide.

"Sunny, she didn't want to come. I'm y/n, by the way, Mom." He said, and he spoke with no hesitation. Thorn smiled, and nuzzled y/n. So, this is what a mother's love felt like? Huh. It was much more comforting than he thought.

Time skip....

No one's p.o.v.

Sunny was alive.

She was here.

Y/n and Sunny were reunited again.

"Y-Y/n?! But you died!" She exclaimed, stumbling backwards at the sight of you. Y/n took in a deep breath, and wrapped his tail up with Qiblis.

"I- no. I didn't. I faked it. You were the one that the Talons needed, not me. And now, I've found our mother, and I have a mate. Qibli is my mate." He said, and, even though Sunny had calmed down and understood, she still looked hurt.

Time skip again...

(After the first series....)

Sunny's p.o.v

"Sunny! Sunny! Sunny! Is it really true?!" Kinkajou called, bouncing up to me with her winglet behind her. I turned around to see the winglet all confused and surprised, even Kinkajou was confused!

"Is Qibli really mates with your brother?!" She yelled, and all the students in the hall stopped and looked at me with shock. I glanced at Qibli, and he gave me a small smile and a look that said 'She just figured it out! I didn't tell her!'

"Yes. It is true. Do you have a problem with that?" I turned around and saw Y/n coming, and he stood beside me.

"I- that is SO cool! We'll take good care of him, we promise!" Kinkajou exclaimed, and flew off towards her winglets cave, the other following her. Eventually, after some students asked me and y/n some questions, the hall was empty.

"I'm glad it wasn't one last time. This might never had happened!"

"Same here, Sunny. Same here."
