Moons I haven't even written a story on this and I think I already feel as close to you all as Kat is. Enjoy a story about one of our favorite Rainwings!
No one's p.o.v
Y/n swung from tree branch to tree branch, keeping her fruit pouch close. With a final, graceful, swing, she landed on the platform and headed inside Glorys palace. Glory looked up and spotted Y/n, Sunny, Tsunami, Jambu and Kinkajou with her.
"Ah, Y/n! How nice to see you!" Glory exclaimed, her scales turning pink. Y/n bowed her head and presented her with the fruit she had collected. Sunny let out an ooooo, and Jambu let out a small gasp.
"Mango, banana, pear, kasib, payapa, sitrus, and some honeycomb." She listed. (yes I used some berry names from Pokemon) Y/n tensed a little at the small sparkle her claws gave off. She quickly put down the basket and took off to her hammock. She let out a groan as she flopped into it. She reached under the leaves and pulled out her scroll Glory gave her.
I enchant Y/ns claws to STOP SPARKLING ALL THE TIME
She wrote, furious. She glanced down at her claws to find that they stopped sparkling. She sighed in relief, and yelped as a Rainwing landed on her Hamm and took her scroll.
"Jambu! Give that back!" She snapped, reaching for her scroll. Jambu lifted it out of her reach and continued to read her spells.
"Glory told me about animus'. You're an animus!" Jambu exclaimed, handing her the scroll and holding her talons in his. Y/n sighed and nodded, resting her head on the pink dragons shoulder.
"Yeah, I am." She whispered, closing her eyes. Jambu hugged her tightly, sensing her tension.
"Hey, can you, uh, enchant me something?" He murmured, and she sighed, but nodded. She pulled away from Jambu and he pulled out a (very rare) Aliopic flower out of a pouch. "Can you enchant it to go to the dragon I'm in love with?" He asked, handing her the flower. At that, Y/n's heart shattered. His crush definitely wasn't her, she wouldn't be getting such a rare flower. But she was happy for the dragon who would get it. She nodded and began.
"I enchant this flower to go to the dragon Jambu is in love with." She murmured, and watched the flower float over to her. It tucked itself behind her ear, and she exploded into pink and crimson.
"I love you, Y/n." Jambu whispered, pulling her into a hug. Y/n smiled, and fell asleep, safe in Jambu's wings.
So? How did I do? Do ya like it? Fun fact, I edit most of Kats storys! Hope I did a good job! I write some story's from time to time, so I've had practice!
