So I've been thinking about Harry Potter a lot lately and I've noticed that there are a couple of things in the books that can make you see your worst fear. Specifically Boggarts and Dementors.
I'm glad both of these aren't real because I never want to meet them. Mainly because I don't know what my worst fear is.
Like I'm surprised that all those students in the defense against the dark arts class knew their worst fears so they could think of a way to turn them silly. I have no idea what my boggart would be.
I'm not afraid of a lot of things. Now I'm not fearless, but I don't fear a lot of the same things other people fear. Spiders? Nope I take them outside and don't even flinch when one crawls on me. Heights? Let's just say I leaned over the edge of the Grand Canyon to freak my dad out. The dark? I like the dark, for some reason it calms me.
I still feel fear though. I'm wary of venomous spiders, I'm careful when I'm up high enough that falling could kill me, and if I hear an unknown noise walking home in the dark you bet I'm walking faster.
I am afraid of lightning, but not enough to have a boggart turn into lightning. I'm more afraid in the sense that if I'm outside and I see it I book it inside and if I'm inside I close all the blinds and curtains and unplug all my electronic anythings.
So if I encountered something that showed me my worst fear, it might turn into something that would completely terrify me, and it would be even worse because I didn't know what my worst fear was before hand!
Good thing that will probably never happen.
Maybe my worst fear is not knowing what my worst fear is.
So, any of you guys have this problem? Because I do. And it's a weird problem.
So yeah, weird rant over. :/
