I just went on a super random ride on my train of thought that never rides the tracks like a proper train and I thought I'd share it.
So world records are weird. Not only are they probably inaccurate because I'm sure there's something out there undocumented that can break it, but some of them are just so weird.
Like, how does one create a world record? Do they contact the world record people and just say their really cool thing they do, get it witnessed and recorded, and boom they have a world record? How hard is it to create one?
Why try to break any existing world records in order to get into the world record book when you can just create your own.
Like call up the official world record office or whatever and just be like,
"Hey you guys are not gonna believe how many smiley faces I can draw in a minute and 21 seconds on a blackboard in pink chalk. I bet you've never seen anything like it, it's world record material for sure."
Hey if they let 'amount of ping pong balls thrown onto a head covered in shaving cream in 30 seconds ' be a world record I bet they'll let anything pass.
World records are just so weird.
Don't ask how I got on this topic I don't remember. My train of thought crashed and gave me amnesia.
