[CHAPTER TWENTY]

CRASH!

The opened water bottle was thrown with such anger and force that it was a surprise that it didn't crack the mirror. The water splashed all over the mirror, but the blonde girl only breathed heavily as she stared at the mess she caused.

The small features on her face weren't noticeable as the now water covered mirror was the only thing that showed her face. However, she had blonde hair and blue eyes with fair skin. She wore a blue dress that appeared to be made out of the finest silk, yet she wore no shoes. She just had plain white socks.

What was she upset about? It wasn't clear.

There was the sound of footsteps approaching, but the girl paid them no mind as she fell onto her knees. The water bottle rolled away from her and towards the door just as another figure appeared. A loud sob was heard from blonde girl as she ran her slender fingers through her hair in a frustrated manner.

It wasn't known who had approached, but it was clear that it was a male by his voice. He only said one thing as he stood under the doorway, his eyes fixated on the girl on the floor.

"Aurélie. . ."

"I had a weird dream last night," said Odette as she sat at the Ravenclaw table during breakfast.

"Yeah?" said Mei, but she sounded disinterested in Odette's dream as she continued, "I'm sorry I keep delaying our talk. I'm just really busy."

"Oh it's alright," said Odette, "I haven't even thought about that. You know, it was so odd. Two strangers I've never met before were in my dream."

"Perhaps you used to know them," shrugged Mei, "Anyway, are you okay if I delay our talk again? I promise we'll get to it. Maybe tomorrow?"

"That's what you said yesterday," said Odette, "It's okay if we don't talk, just get your business done first, alright? Then, we could talk."

"Oh, but Odette! It's really important!" said Mei, "Perhaps I should just count on Xia?"

"Mei!" said Odette, "It's okay, really. It's not that important if you can't even make time for it anyway. I don't even know what you want to talk about, so it doesn't matter."

"It does!" said Mei.

Odette sighed, "Look, we had this same argument yesterday. Let's just drop it, okay? Talk to me when you're ready. I'm going to class."

"You barely ate anything," said Mei.

Odette stopped walking and turned to her, "I lost my appetite."

"Because of me?"

"No, because of our argument," said Odette, "How many days has it been since you keep bringing it up? It ruins my whole morning."

"Well, I'm sorry that my concerns don't mean anything to you," mumbled Mei.

"It's not that, Mei," said Odette, "It's just that this "talk" that you want to have is all you talk to me about these past few days. You could spend that time apologizing to me to talk to me, but instead you completely ignore whatever I want to say and go back to this "talk"."

"I don't ignore what you want to say —"

"You didn't even listen to my dream today," said Odette as she crossed her arms.

"It's just a dream," said Mei with a roll of her eyes, "I have weird dreams all the time, but I don't bore you with them, do I?"

"I won't argue with you, but just so you know, your dreams don't bore me."
