tomorrow's over the hazy sea
my mind's all fading white
if today is all there'll ever be
'least you're here at my side
/
yet the silence still shouts me down
still won't let me hide
i descend into that tumbling embrace
so quiet inside
/
tomorrow's over the hazy sea
i try to light an ember's spark
this hour you're always here with me
yet voices still ring through my dark
/
since we're talking about the voices:
the cacophony in my heart
you're the imaginary friend:
the one i never had.
"so quiet inside, this rising cacophony."
