"You ready?" Cole asks , holding the keys to our house. I smile and hold his and Harry's hands as he locks the door to the empty house for the last time. Once it's done, he puts the key in the mailbox for the realtor and we form a tight hug with each other. It's the end of an era. We pull apart and get in the cab to the airport.

Time skip to after flight

"Ugh, I'm so hungry." Luke whines as we walk to the front of the building where Michael is picking us up. Since it's late, Cal stayed back with the kids at Luke's and I guess my house. We walked for about ten minutes until I say the familiar boy leaning against a wall typing on his phone. He looked up and smiled when he saw us. We all gave him a hug and said hello before hopping in his car. We were all pretty wide awake from the time change but it was about 3 am here so I could tell Michael was tired.

"Thank you for picking us up." I say to him.
"I know you must be tired."

"It's no problem. I'm all good."

"How were the kids.?"

"They were perfect. We had a lot of fun." I laugh and lay my head on Luke's shoulder.

"Tired?" He asks putting his arm around my waist.

"Nope." I say popping the 'p'.

"Sure. I'm willing to bet that you will be asleep within and hour of being home." I shrug and we pull up Luke's driveway. We al hop out of the car and walk inside.

"Alright, I'm going to sleep. See you guys tomorrow." Michael says walking into the guest room I was staying in. I have been staying in Luke's room to make things easier. We say goodbye and I walk into the room the kids were in with Luke and Cole following behind me. I place a kiss on both sleeping kids foreheads Bedford walking back out to the living room where Harry and Ashton were sitting on their phones. I flop down on the couch and lay my head in Luke's lap. He laughs and plays worth my hair as I shut my eyes.

"I knew you were tired." He laughs.

Luke's POV

I scrolled through Instagram with one hand while the other was playing with Roses hair. I look down at her on my lap and chuckle because she in fact did fall asleep. I laugh as I pick her up bridal style and carry her to our bedroom. I gently lay her down on the bed and pull the covers over her. I place a kiss on her forehead before walking back into the living room where now it's just Ashton sitting there. He smirks at me when I sit down.

"What?"I ask confused. He shakes his head.

"Nothing. It's just adorable how much you love her."

"I do. So much"

"Hey, I never really go to talk about this to you. How did it feel when you saw her again?"

"Well, when I saw the news article I was happy that she was back.  I came to Michaels so excited that I would be able to see her again. But Mel was there and I felt sad because I realized she moved on. Once I actually saw her in the hospital I was terrified. I thought she hated me and things would be awkward but it wasn't. It was weird at first because I was not used to having her back." I explain.

"What about when you found out you were a dad?" A wide smile stretched across my lips.

"Oh my god Ash, if you saw what happened you would have died. Harry accidentally told me and then I realized that I was so dumb and how did I not put that together before hand. I paced around the hospital room just to get all my excited energy out. I was so happy and relieved."

"I'm happy for you man. I really am."

"Thanks Ash." I smile. We talk for a while and eventually I go into my room and fall asleep next to Skylar.

"Mommy,Daddy." I woke up being shaken and hearing quiet whispers. I open my eyes and see Melody standing by the side of the bed. I glance at the clock and see that it is 5Am.

"What's wrong sweety? Why are you up?" I ask yawning.

"I had a bad dream. C-can I stay here?" She says quietly like she is scared.

"Of course." I say picking her up and laying her down in between Rose and I. She cuddles into my arms and closes her eyes.

"Sweet dreams Mel." I whisper before kissing the top of her head and falling asleep myself.
