Luke's PoV

After I closed the door on Roses old room, I decided to go see Harry and Lauren. I talked to Harry for a little bit before going to Lauren's room. I knocked and opened the door when I heard her yell 'come in' she smiled at me when she saw me.

"Hey Luke." She says getting up from her spot on the bed and giving me a hug. I hug back.

"Hey. I haven't seen you in so long." I say as we pull apart.

"I know. How's life?" She asks and we both sit on her bed with our feet dangling off.

"A lot better since Skylar came back." I admit. She smiles and nods.

"How's Mel?" She asks making my lips widen into a wide smile.

"Perfect. Well, she's had a bit of an attitude lately but other than that, she's perfect."

"Good. What about Skylar? I know she doesn't do well with change." My heart drops as I remember the scars on her arms a few days ago.

"Um, yeah it is hard on her but I think she will be okay."

"That's good." She nods.

"So how's your life?" I ask trying to make conversation.

"Better than the last time you saw me." We both laugh remembering the time 4 years ago.
"But seriously I'm a lot better now. I'm looking into schools to go to."

"That's cool. What do you want to do?"

"I'm not sure yet. I know I want to go into something with photography. I've been looking at schools in America though."

"That's amazing! If you end up going to one in California, you are always welcome with us."

"Thanks Luke." She laughs.

"What do you think about Brady?" I ask cautiously. She frowns a little before smiling again.

"He's a great kid. He's so sweet... I just hate that he had to go through all that. It sucks. How could someone do that to such a perfect kid. Especially after their first kid was taken away from them." I frown and nod.
"I think he should see a doctor though. I saw some bruises on him when we went to the park. I just think we should make sure he's okay." I nod in understanding.
"Are you guys taking him back with you?"

"I don't know. We talked about it, and if he wants to then we will of course take him. But we want to do whatever makes him comfortable."

"That's a good idea." We talked for a little bit before there was a soft knock on the door and it opened to reveal little Brady.
"Hey buddy. What's wrong?" Lauren asks, signaling for him to come over to her. He does and she pulls him on his lap.

"Nothing, I just woke up. Skylar is still sleeping though. I wanted to say hi." He smiles and waves to me.

"Hey kid. What's up?"I ask trying to make him feel comfortable around me.

"Nothing." He replies.

"Are you ready for breakfast?" Lauren asks. Brady nods small as if he was afraid to be hungry.

"How about we go wake up Skylar and everyone else, then go get food?" I ask. He smiles and nods. We jump up from the bed and walk out the door.

"Who else is here?" Lauren asks.

"Ashton and Louis."

"Seriously, my own brother couldn't come say hello to me!"She yells making us laugh. We walk into Roses room and wake her up. She looks around and rubs her eyes. I love how clueless she is in the morning. Eventually she gets up and comes with us to get everyone else. I knock on Ashton's door and it is swung open by a Louis. He smiles at us.

"Hi, I'm Louis. I know we talked over FaceTime before." He says hugging Lauren. He bends down to meet Brady's level.
"Hey Brady, what's up."

"Hellooooo!" Brady smiles. We laugh and go to wake up Ashton. Lauren says she has it and tells us to hold our ears.

"ASHTON FLETCHER IRWIN! WAKE YOUR LAZY BUT UP ROGHT NOW AND HUG YOUR SISTER!" She screams at the top of her lungs making Ashton jump awake. He looks scared and confused for a moment.

"Jesus Christ Lauren. Hello." He laughs giving her a hug. He sees Brady and says hi as well. We get Harry before walking down to the kitchen where Anne/ Mama Irwin has prepared us food. Jesus, what a crazy morning.
