Shota and (Y/N) had arrived to his apartment from the grocery store. He had never brought home that many things. The owner knew Shota as a regular, and he was also surprised about the amount of groceries purchased. (Y/N) placed the groceries in all the empty spaces in Shota's kitchen. She bought items that wouldn't spoil easily as they would be in and out of the apartment. She could smell the freshness of the four apples and five oranges she had bought. As much as she was ashamed to say, the erasure hero did not even have the basics needed to make a simple meal.

"Wow Shota, I can't believe you had no real food in this house. I never took you for a cook, but, this is just incredible. The only one with food here is Rocky, because those frozen dinners don't count" - (Y/N)

"I spent most of my time at UA and patrolling, so I almost never eat here" - Shota

"Blah, blah. Thank you for your help with the groceries. I could've made the trip by myself, except there were a couple of things I still can't distinguish by smell or touch. I wouldn't have been able to distinguish between cream cheese and butter if it wasn't for you. Let me make you a good dinner! Why don't you go take a shower or something?" - (Y/N)

"Am I going to die?" - Shota

"You know I am a good cook, don't you remember?" - (Y/N)

He did. He remembered that she was so impressed with Lunch Rush that she took extracurricular classes with the pro just so that she could learn how to cook her favorite meals. She had always been that way, knowledge was her drug.

"I'll work out in the bedroom for a bit, and then I'll shower" said Shota as he stood up.

"Great! You do that!" replied (Y/N)

(Y/N) was not sure at this point what would be a great thing to put together. She had bought many meats, so she had to choose fast as she had to freeze the ones she didn't use for dinner. I think breaded pork slices is the way to go. She put all the other meats in the freezer and took out the dry rice, bread crumbs, green onions, eggs, flour, oil and spices. I wonder if he even has a pan, or a rice cooker. I didn't think about buying those! But luckily his mother had given him what he called "useless" items when he came into this new apartment. The pan still had the plastic covering, while the rice cooker was still in the box. She put both items outside of their wrappings, and proceeded to wash the pan and the bowl for the cooker.

"Ok, now how do I choose the correct setting... perhaps I can figure out the numbers by touch" said (Y/N) as she focused her damaged sight towards the cooker buttons. In that moment, a rush of pain shot through the back of her neck to her temples. She dropped the bowl full of dry rice on the ground, as her hands held on to each side of her head. She struggled to scream, so she had to live through the pain without release. And just like that, the pain was gone. She let out a breath and opened her eyes. The white rice was scattered all over the dark wood floor. Oh what a mess, I better clean this up. Good thing every grain contrasts nicely against the floor.

Shota got out of the shower and opened his linen basket to find (Y/N)'s dirty laundry. Huh? He headed over to his bedroom to get a fresh pair of underwear, pants and a long sleeve t-shirt. He put his hair in a low bun, loaded some clothes in the washer, and headed over to the kitchen. The smell of the food was enticing. His apartment had never smelled this good before, perhaps only when the dryer released fabric softener scented vapor, but it never smelled of food. I think its pork. Shota entered the kitchen.

"You look so grown up. Look at that scruffy chin, your dry eyes and that ugly scar. But you are still the same exhausted Shota I met back in high school..." said (Y/N) as she wiped tears from her eyes.

"You can see now?! Why didn't you tell me? Are you ok? Does anything hurt?!" asked Shota as he came closer to her. His hands cupping her face and his eyes looking deep into hers.
