New Teacher

"YES! It's her!" exclaimed Mina Ashido with excitement.

"Pro hero Escarlata is now a teacher at UA?! I will get to learn from another top hero?! But I don't know much about her stats... perhaps I can dig deeper into her records if I get access to the UA database, but of course if I do that..." began muttering Izuku Midoriya in the background as he recorded information on his notebook.

"Shut up you weakling!" yelled Katsuki Bakugo at his classmate.

"Look at that costume! So awesome!" said Ochaco Uraraka in the background as she blushed.

"I know who she is! It's Present Mic's girlfriend! I saw them together holding hands a couple weeks ago!" said Kaminari in the background.

Aizawa's death stare got directed towards the electric blonde. "It is not appreciated to make such assumptions about your teachers..." said Aizawa as his hair and capture weapon floated all around his head.

"My apologies Mr. Aizawa and uhm, Ms....uh. What do you want us to call you?" asked Kaminari, feeling relief as Aizawa calmed down.

"You can call me Ms. (L/N) or Escarlata if you prefer. I will be meeting with you three times a week in the afternoon after period 5, and another 3 with class 1-B. This course was especially written for the hero track given the different paths a young graduate can take after leaving UA. I will be teaching you about your options, as well as help you discover your own interests. I have many questions for you, but I will uncover those as we go along. Do any of you have quick questions for me that you need to ask right now?" said the hero as she wrote her name and last name on the board.

A boy with purple balls sticking out of his head raised his hand.

"Minoru Mineta" responded the teacher. "What is your question?" asked the female teacher, as Aizawa glanced at the young man since Mineta was known for being inappropriate.

"Well, since Present Mic is out of the question. Ms. (L/N), what is your policy on dating younger men?" asked the smug young man as he held his face with his left hand.

The capture weapon was released, but before it could reach the position of the round haired student, a red light pulled the boy out of his chair, and raised his little body across the classroom, until he was face to face with his female teacher.

"Listen here young pupil, I will not tolerate any disrespect towards myself. Any questions about my personal life, or any other subject non pertinent to my career in or out of UA are strictly out of bounds... are we clear?" said the teacher with fire in her eyes but in a calm voice, as the young man, pale as snow, nodded in accordance.

"Very well" said the teacher as she used her energy to return the trembling student to his seat.

"For now, I want to learn more about your abilities, as the reports can only tell me so much. We will be doing a short training session in ground Beta as part of our little ice breaker. Let's meet there in 15 minutes."

The students exited the classroom accordingly. Many comments and laughter could be heard in the background.

"What is wrong with you?" said Kirishima as he slapped the back of Mineta's head. "That was the least manly way to address your teacher!"

"You know I always aim high. Those hips...those breasts... that skin-tight black suit..." said Mineta as he drooled while rubbing his head.

"Hahahaha! Did you see Mineta's reaction when he got scolded?!" said Kyoka Jirou as she spat from laughter.

"I don't think I have ever seen him so scared!" said secretary Momo Yaoyorozu as she politely covered her mouth while laughing.

"That is a really cool quirk. I bet she can reach anything!" exclaimed Toru Hagakure as she walked beside Tsuyu Asui.

"She used her power as I would my tongue!" said Tsu.

The teachers waited at ground Beta for the students to come in from the locker rooms.

"Did you keep your lesson the same?" asked Aizawa.

"No, it has changed as of 5 minutes ago" responded the red head.

"I figured you would change it as soon as you met the class. Besides, you are more on the creative side. I like to be a straight arrow." 

"That is brand new information. What is next? You like to sleep?" responded (Y/N) in a very sarcastic tone.

"Hmph..." said Aizawa as he smirked.

The students walked into the practice field.

"Glad to see you all could make it. I nice to see those uniforms haven't changed one bit. Today I had planned a very boring sparring lesson. But you know, the best plans are the ones that come at last minute. Heroes need to be good at thinking quick, and I am an expert at that. I kept the essence of the lesson, but the dynamic is the following..." A floating screen appeared beside the teacher. Little mannequins appeared on the screen as the explained what the point of the lesson was.

"For the past couple of months, I have experienced various changes in my life that have culminated with my new position as a teacher at UA. From those adjustments, the one where I had to learn to adapt without my eyesight was the hardest. I am grateful that I was able to recover, but that doesn't remove the adaptations I had to create in order to survive without my eyes. As a hero, you know how important eyesight is, not only to direct attacks, but also to be aware of your surroundings. However, you never know when a villain will successfully nullify your eyesight. Whether permanent, or temporary, you need to learn how to survive without it. You will work in teams of four. Two will act as the obstacle team, and the other two will be the blinded hero and their guide. The goal is for the blinded student to run 5 blocks in the allotted time. The obstacle team will use their quirks to create many difficulties along the way, while the guide will only use their voice to help the blind student. You all were grouped at random, and here are the teams..."

The students were anxious to know who they would be working with. Many had questions, but they were not ready to ask until they knew whose quirks they had to work with and against.

"Tokoyami and Aoyama vs Uraraka and Hagakure"

The girls paired in the background and held hands in joy, as Tokoyami put his hands in his pockets. "An eye for an eye will turn the world blind..." said the emo student under his breath. "Its unfair blind people can't enjoy my sparkle" said Aoyama as he modeled for the other students.

"Midoriya and Kaminari vs Asui and Ojiro"

"We got this Midoriya! There is no way we can lose with your quirk and mine" said the blonde as he choked the freckled kid with his right arm. "Let's just make sure you don't jam..." said Midoriya as he released himself from the embrace.

"Todoroki and Mineta vs Sato and Shoji"

Sugarman and Tentacole looked at each other in agreement, while Mineta cried in the background "But why aren't there any girls in our team? What's with this sausage fest?!"

"Iida and Ashido vs Yaoyorozu and Kirishima"

Red Riot locked his fists. "Alright Yaomomo, let's show them how it's done!"

"And last but not least, Koda and Sero vs Jiro and Bakugo"

Bakugo turned to look at the girl with the earphone jacks. "At least I got one of the capable extras... tsk".

"I really don't know how to take that, but I think it was a compliment..." said Kyoka as she raised her hand. "Excuse me Ms. (L/N), will we be taking turns, or will this be a onetime drill?"

"Great question Jirou, you will all take turns to be blinded. I want you all to learn how to maximize the use of your quirk in that aspect. You will be graded on completion, creativity and teamwork. If there aren't any more questions, let's all meet at the start line."

The students of class 1-A lined up, and Escarlata's first lesson began.
