Indirect Guilt

**Dear reader: From this point on, the story will focus on some plot points from the Shie Hissaikai Arc from MHA. If you are not caught up on this arc, please stop reading the story as there are some spoilers ahead. Now, if you don't mind spoilers (like me) enjoy!**

(Y/N) was putting boxes together in her old apartment. She was not taking much back, only her clothes and some other stuff she was emotionally attached to. She had her old UA uniform, and small gifts she has gotten as rewards from missions. She realized then, she did not own not one memento of Shota. (Y/N)'s thoughts were interrupted as her phone began ringing. "Oh crap, I forgot to call my mother after all this mess happened!"

After a long phone conversation with her mother, (Y/N) told her the news, and the latter decided she'd fit better in the country towns of the Northern Region, so she wouldn't be moving with her daughter back to Musutafu. (Y/N) did not try to convince her otherwise, she thought the farther she was from her family for now, the better. She did not need her mother becoming a target of villains because of the current investigation. She had very few people she held dear, and she wanted them as far away from the villains as possible. (Y/N)'s phone began ringing again.

"Hi Shota, I hope your day is better than mine. This packing stuff is exhausting, I would rather be patrolling or something. I did not know I had so many black socks. Who needs this many?"

"Black socks are essential for anyone's survival, you can never have too many. The investigation I am part of will be raiding what we believe is the main hideout of the Hissaikai. I am letting you know because I don't know how long this will take, so I need you to head straight to the apartment and..."

"Shota, be careful. It took me so long to get you back...I don't want to lose you again. I wished I could be there to help out, I planned this trip poorly."

A short but meaningful silence surrounded the phone call.

"Don't worry, I will be fine. Just make sure you take care of Rocky when you get back. Leave your boxes in the living room, we will sort them out later when I get home, ok?"

"What? No. I am going to put them in a storage locker until I get a place of my own, which should be soon, I guess."

"Don't be irrational, Rocky would go into a depression if you leave, and he is too old for that. We both know you are not leaving my apartment."

"Yes of course, I wouldn't want to make Rocky sad. I guess I will have to deal with you if I want to make the cat happy, I owe him that much anyway."

"Very well, I will be seeing you tomorrow then"

"See you tomorrow Sho" said (Y/N) as she hung up the phone.

The following day, (Y/N) took the long train ride towards Musutafu. On her way there, she took out her laptop and began drafting what would be her first lesson in her introduction day at UA with the first-year students.

"Let's see, according to Nezu, the majority of the class should be based upon student interests and inquiry. Of course I can't begin class or training if I have not interacted with the students before and I do not know their interests, so I have to come up with a good introduction lesson to fill up the first instruction time. Hmm... I think got it. This pedagogy book that All Might let me borrow has proven very useful and straight to the point!"

Lesson Objective... Students will be able to defend and attack while blindfolded to sharpen their senses in battles.

Justification... Heroes are to be prepared to have their vision temporarily impaired during battles. Vision is the most important sense during a confrontation to both direct and evade attacks. Some villains might have quirks that help them impair vision, such as smoke, glue-based, fog, etc. Students will learn how to rely on hearing, tact, smell and, hopefully not, taste to find their way and succeed in battles.
