Decisions, decisions.

Escarlata walked into the principal's office and was directed to take a seat. Nezu's office was a little different that back in the day. The desk was in a different area, his exercise wheel was now by the window, and there was an automatic keratin dispenser by the door.

"I heard from Aizawa that you recovered your eye sight this weekend. I am very happy that you are back to health (Y/N). Now make sure that you are taking your keratin, you might also want your hair to be healthy from here on" said Nezu.

"Uhm, is there anything wrong with my hair, principal Nezu?" asked (Y/N) as she blushed and insecurely grabbed her red strands.

"No, not at all, but you know humans don't produce as much keratin as us furry mammals. Anyhow, I asked you come to see me is because at this point I am unsure what your plans are from here. You went through a fairly traumatic event, and I know that you had many losses from the actions of those villains. As a school, UA has also experienced its fair number of encounters with the same organized group."

"The League of Villains..." mumbled (Y/N) under her breath.

"That is right, the League of Villains. UA has taken several measures to ensure the safety of the students since the kidnapping of one of them. We asked the parents for their out most trust when we implemented the dorm rooms. (Y/N) you are a dear alum of UA, and a hero with a spotless record. You are a dear guest at UA, and under regular circumstances your visit would've been nothing to be concerned about, but because we are under drastic security measures..."

"Principal Nezu" interrupted (Y/N) "I know what you are about to say. I shouldn't be here at UA. But don't worry, I will not overstay my welcome if it compromises the safety of the students..."

"Not at all. I actually want you to stay, as a teacher here at UA. I got a report from your job at the bank this morning. Thorough, effective and compassionate were the words of the police chief who reviewed your performance. You were the top student for all your classes. I would be thrilled to have you here and guide the heroes of tomorrow. With All Might retiring, we are unsure how long he will be teaching here, so we need all hands on deck. I know that you will want to stop the League of Villains at any cost, and I have to be candid and say that we are on the same page. I don't know what you will think of this request, but take some days to chew on it, and let me know what you decide. Either way, we will be allies in stopping the League of Villains."

Escarlata had a lot to think about. So many twists had happened in the last couple of days. Her and Aizawa finally connected sentimentally after all these years, and Nezu had just given her an offer to stay as a teacher at UA, her alma mater. Twelve years ago, she had left her life for a fresh start, and now she had a chance to continue where she had left off. She was definitely not the same fragile eighteen-year-old girl, she was now a full-fledged hero who was strong enough to handle the expectations others had of her: Nezu, Aizawa, the students and herself.

The bell had signaled the beginning of lunch and the students swarmed the hallways on their way to the cafeteria. Escarlata walked among them, and passed by some familiar faces.

"Oh my god! There she is in her costume! Pro Hero Escarlata!" said Izuku Midoriya as he took notes in his notebook. "Gloves probably to regulate her beams of energy. Her belt must contain some sort of first aid or accessories, the red cloth on her right is of unknown use, and her boots help her with landing. I wish I could take some notes on her combat skills, but I have never seen her in action..." he kept on muttering to himself as a cloud of thoughts invaded his friends' personal space.

"Ms. Escarlata! Hi!" said Mina Ashido as she waved. Escarlata walked over and introduced herself formally. Katsuki Bakugo recognized Escarlata and he observed as he walked past the group. That is the lady I helped the other day.
