Escarlata walked into the hospital and stopped by the reception. The nurse typed Shota's name into the computer.

"I am sorry hero, but that name was not registered as a patient in this hospital"

"Are you sure? I know I am at the right hospital..." said Escarlata as she checked her phone and looked around looking for signs.

"Perhaps his injuries did not need for him to register as a patient. Usually we just take care of heroes injuries if they are not life threatening. You can ask the police men over in that office. Perhaps they know where he has been hanging out"

"Thank you miss!" said Escarlata as she waved to the receptionist and walked towards the police officers down the hall. She wasn't that worried about Shota and his stab wound, but the emotional openness they had experienced had her emotions out of whack.

"Eraser Head? He is currently guarding the little girl Overhaul was holding as a hostage. He should be in this room. Just be discrete. The second floor is very busy with the investigation" said the officer as he handed Escarlata a piece of paper.

"Thank you, I will be sure to be very quiet" said the hero as she winked. She then turned and was headed for the second floor.

The hospital personnel had left a while ago, and Shota's smartphone had been dead for hours. He had Hizashi call (Y/N). I need to remember people's numbers, but then why have technology that can do it for me? The hero closed his eyes one more time, hopeful to actually reach one REM cycle. I am not religious, but if there is a god...

There was a knock on the door. There isn't a god...

"Come in..."

"Sho?! Are you alright?! I have been so worried since Hizashi's call..." said Escarlata as she walked in the room and sat next to the hero. There is a god.

Escarlata entered the room, and sat next to the man who held the world record for the largest eye bags.

"I think so. I only ended up with a seven-stitch wound. One of the villain's used his quirk on me. I was slowed down for hours, but I have been alright since we made it to the hospital" said Shota as he rubbed his very dry eyes.

"I am happy nothing else happened to you, but I heard... Sir Night Eye wasn't so lucky."

"I am afraid so. His prognosis is not very positive. His injuries are devastating. All Might is already here."

Escarlata sighed. "As heroes, our successes are far greater than our failures, so we never think about how much is at risk with every mission. We take things for granted, and go out patrolling as if we were guaranteed to come back home every night" said the red head as she took Eraser's hand between both of hers. The very tired man responded by holding tight.

"Who is this little girl? Her hair is gorgeous, but it looks so dull. She has so many bandages. Why...?"

"She was being held hostage by the Hissaikai. They were using her quirk to create weapons that can permanently take away an individual's quirk. As a matter of fact, one of our top students lost his because of this raid. This girl's quirk can rewind a persons physical state. According to the investigation so far, she rewound her father to a cellular point"

Escarlata gasped. "This poor child..." Her eyes began to water.

"As a matter of fact, I am here because I am the only one that can help her control her quirk right now. So far, it seems her rewind can only happen through direct contact. I have been here helping the doctors and nurses give her medical treatment. They can only treat her when I erase her quirk. She has had a fever for almost a full day. I asked Hizashi to call you because I am at a very dangerous point of exhaustion. I won't be able to hold my erasure for much longer. Ever since the USJ attack my quirk has weakened, and my eye sockets are not perfectly functional either"
