"I think this lesson is well prepared in theory, but reality might be different. You can plan as much as you want, but that does not guarantee gratifying results. As a teacher and hero, you have to be ready to improvise" said Eraser as he looked at Escarlata's first lesson

"Well, I suppose this will be my grand debut as a teacher at UA"

The days passed and the physical wounds healed, but the emotional ones were still raw. After Sir Night Eye's funeral, the UA students as well as the teachers felt a heavy air hugging their lungs as they returned to the building after their work studies. The teachers gathered for their weekly meeting. The dark double doors opened, as the UA teachers waited, seated around the u-shaped table.

"Good morning UA faculty. It is with great honor and pride that I introduce to you, the new Independent Studies teacher, pro hero Escarlata. She brings a breath of fresh air to our curriculum, and I am sure that as a former student from UA, she shares the core of our mission to help form the heroes of tomorrow!" said Nezu as the red energy hero walked beside him. She stood tall with her arms resting at each side.

"The honor is mine. To join such a prestigious institution is beyond what I pictured for my professional goals" her eyes locked with the tired dark-haired man seated by the end of the table. "I look forward to learn from both, you and the students" said the red headed pro hero, now teacher, as she put her hands near her thighs and bowed. Aizawa half-smiled as the woman he loved accepted a position that would allow him to be even closer to her.

The faculty rose from their seats and clapped to receive their new faculty member.

"Yes! Another woman joins the team! We have to continue to even out the levels of testosterone that dominate this institution!" said Midnight as her handcuffs rattled from her hands waving.

"Midnight act more professional! I cannot believe the whole family is back together!!" said Hizashi in tears as he hugged (Y/N).

"How are those two still working here?" whispered Cementoss into 13's ear, to which the space hero could only shrug to.

After the hug, Escarlata walked headed towards the chair next to Aizawa.

"Please all take a seat. In other announcements, after their work studies, a specific group of students formed a greater amount of experience than others. One could say that they lived one of the darker sides to being a hero. Some of the students in class 1-A could use some spirit lifting activities. With that said, I am here to remind you the school's Cultural Festival is around the corner. Don't forget to talk with your student representatives about organizing their class activities. In a month or so, the first years will really find out the true spirit of UA" said the white mammal as he stood on his chair. "That is all for today UA staff. Have a wonderful day and don't forget to ingest generous amounts of keratin! Aizawa and (L/N) can you two stay for a second? I need to speak to you two about something."

Oh no, he knows... Both heroes thought as they stood closer to the furry principal.

"Aizawa, I have revised the petition you requested for UA to become the guardian of the child rescued from the Hissaikai operation. I believe that she is owed more than can be redeemed in a lifetime. Her treatment at the hands of those criminals wretches my superior digestive system. Although we have resources available for her emotional support, I am afraid that we are an institution that prepares older children, and this would be the first time UA takes charge of such a young girl. The board of directives may require more than just wanting to care for her. Is there a greater rationale for us requesting her guardian ship?" asked the principal while taking a sip of his tea.

"I believe that Eri, with the correct training of her quirk, might be able to return Mirio Togata to his quirk state. Her quirk is one of great power, and we have witnessed what can be done with it when it falls into the wrong hands. I believe UA has the resources to protect, as well as teach her how to use her quirk to benefit society. Plus, her quirk is too dangerous for her to go into a foster agency" said Aizawa as his hand approached the nape of his neck.

"I also think that with Recovery Girl approaching retirement age, Eri could be a great replacement, that is, if she wishes to do so in the future" added (Y/N), wishing with all her heart, she could remain close to the child. The past weeks in the hospital she had acquired mothering feelings towards the girl.

"I see. Those are all valid arguments, and I think that the chances of approval are good. As you two seem to be the only people who can have direct contact with the child, and manage the control of her quirk, I will put you down as the main representatives from the institution. I will let you know as soon as I receive news about this request."

The red headed hero chuckled, while covering her mouth with her right hand. "I'm sorry, but this reminds me of a certain situation that happened during our first year here at UA. Do you remember, Eraser?" asked the hero as her gaze turned to the dark haired man.

"How can I forget? The situation still lives with me..." - Aizawa

"Nothing gives me more faith in you two than the care you provided for Rocky a long time ago. His fur is nothing short of excellent. I trust that you will nourish the child and allow her to live a healthy life from here on, with the help of UA too of course. Go on with your day! Oh, and if there is anything you need to disclose, make sure that you put those forms through HR! Good luck in your first lesson Escarlata!" said the white principal as he waved goodbye to the heroes.

Aizawa and (L/N) blushed as the crossed the dark double doors into the hallway. They turned to each other. Aizawa's eyes were wide open, and the most translucent blush glowed from his cheeks. (Y/N)'s face was red as a hot charcoal briquette.

"He knows..." said the couple at the same time.

"I... I have to ppp..prepppare the materials for my lesson, so I am going to... uhm... Walk that way towards Gamma, so I tth—think I will see you later when I introduce myself to 1-A..." said the red head as she fanned her face with her hands.

"Yes, that seems ideal. I will see you after 5th period". And just like that, the embarrassed lovers glanced at each other, as they walked in opposite directions.

The bell rung indicating that 5th period was finally over. The students from Class 1-A enjoyed a 5 minute break before the training part of the day began.

"Stop running in the hallways!" said representative Iida as he guided his classmates back to class.

"Sorry Iida, but someone moved the bathroom further that it usually is!" said Kaminari as he reached for the door of Class 1-A.

The students took their seats. Mr. Aizawa's cocoon reached the podium and opened the zipper to the hood of his sleeping bag.

"Good afternoon class. I have an announcement for an upcoming school event for later. Now I will introduce your new teacher."

The giant door opened, revealing (Y/N) in full costume entering the classroom of the first year hero course.

"Welcome Red Energy hero, Escarlata, your new independent studies teacher."

The class gasped, as they saw the woman walk across the front. She stopped right behind the desk.

"Hello everyone."
