Every slam and thud that Seiko's fists planted on the training dummy seemed to resonate throughout the tiny training room she secluded herself in. An incessant thwack and smack consumed her, and the adrenaline pumping her veins suppressed the steadily developing blisters on her hands.

So what of resting? So what of the loss that came upon her time and time again?

Bam!!

Another solid hit, and the girl huffed in frustration when the dummy finally succumbed to her beatdown, toppling over in startling fashion.

There was no need for her to apply her light quirk—or any quirk at that matter—simply because her body refused to. After reaching out to Dabi regarding High End, the villain simply sent her off with a less-than-reassuring "I'll handle it." He insisted the girl remain inconspicuous, before she completely exploded under U.A.'s watchful eye.

So she did, but that pent up fury was clearly demonstrated on the mutilated dummy now on the floor.

"Nakano-san? Are you alright?"

Stumbling into attention, Seiko finally noticed the bubbling pain in her hands while turning towards the voice. The surprise was evident, especially when she looked slightly downwards to see the unsteady expression of Midoriya Izuku staring towards her.

"O-Oh, hi Midoriya-san." She murmured, not at all attempting to put on Nakano's positive behavior.

The green-haired boy noticed immediately of the girl's sudden absence from 1-A's increasing number of training activities. Not to mention that he had to go investigate the unusually noisy training this early in the morning. So when he noticed the abnormally active Nakano Seiko demolishing the training dummy (and he swore that she was supposed to be on "temporary rest"), Deku thought he had to do something.

"...are you doing fine?" He persisted, knowing that her attention was all but on him.

"Yeah," Muttering, her eyes slowly settled on his, Seiko donning a frown after a brief brush with his current thoughts. "I should be asking you the same thing, Midoriya..."

Oops, her scan quirk... Deku flinched, awkwardly tugging on his jogging outfit and removing his gaze from her own. "I—uh...had a bizarre dream, so I'm probably going to go on a jog to clear my mind."

dark...shadows. but he saw figures? Seiko became thoughtful. so many figures? of what, though?

"That's a strange dream." She blurted instantly, failing to filter her own thoughts. Surprised at her own outburst, Seiko quickly fell into her heroic persona, forcing a flustered expression onto her face. "I-I mean—I didn't mean to intrude!!"

At her sudden bow, Midoriya burst into an embarrassed bow in reuturn. "Oh, no! It's your quirk, I'm sure you didn't mean to!"

It was suspicious, Seiko rationalized—as Midoriya steadily fell into his typical spiel of heroic and sympathetic nonsense. Dreams about former experiences after the number of fights Class 1-A had been through weren't unexpected of the students, but Midorya's memories were...unique. The figments of his dreams were nearly indecipherable to Seiko, which already proved warning signs.

The boy's quirk was nonsensical to the girl, and his information alone was a challenge for her to truly "scan." He was an anomaly, which was bizarre to Seiko.

Why was he so unique?

"—Nakano-san?"

Finally falling back into attention, she tuned back into Midoriya's questioning. "Oh, sorry. What was it?"
